👍 Looks nice and looks practical for an couple. But I have bad news for you. Full tank of diesel fuel + full tank of fresh water + full tank of LP gas = 500.2 pounds. Add 300 pounds for you and your spouse. That's 800 pounds. Bring some clothes and now you at your max carrying capacity.
Any ideas?
Yes, tow a car and put some of the extra weight in it! 🤷🏻♂️ I’ve heard several people say that’s what they do!

@@RVConcierge hey sir I have a Thor tiburon same floor plan on order. It says 5000 tow capacity? Can you tow a car?
Also, is using a trailer hitch storage rack a good work around ?
For such a large vehicle, the kitchen is just too tiny with no storage!
This floor plan has a lot going on! The storage definitely suffer because of this!
This is definitely my favorite model of RV? I’m thinking of going full time because I’m an travel nurse. :)
What is the drive quality like in cities and tight spaces?

Hi Lauren, these are the second smallest RV that you can have. The converted class c sprinter are a great alternative to the smallest class b van RVs. The bathrooms and storage space is much less in the b vans.
Anything Mercedes is going to have a Hefty price but are the best fuel mileage of any RV. I’ll be doing another tour of my Mercedes b van that you can compare to the Thor Delano for space and storage. Reach out anytime with questions! Thanks for watching! -Jim

I need help!
We bought a 2023 Thor Delano FB from General RV. We took delivery 4/10/2023. We have had one problem after another. I have called Thor, General RV Customer Service, and Cummins!
1. The generator is broken. They finally found out that the inverter is bad. Now we don’t have a generator, and on top of that the fuel line was left open and we have been (unknowingly) spilling gas. We should have been given a new generator.
2. General RV will not submit paperwork to Thor to replace generator on a NEW UNIT!
3. The cabinet above the kitchen is hanging on ONE hinge! It literally falling apart.
Please help us!

Would think the coach would be under powered given the size of the engine. Great interior cabinets and floor plan. Tend to think that a lot of that storage couldn't be utilized given the limited CCC. Also, us short types wouldn't care for the location of the microwave and the control system.

Not under powered at. It has plenty of torque and passing get up. We love ours
... And let's talk about cooking outside (like you said) How about an outdoor kitchen option? The Aussie's have this figured out with several pull out kitchen options. I WANT to cook outside - make it so!.
Love outside kitchens… so I made my own outside kitchen with a couple
tables… works perfect!

It’s ordered! We’ve been needing to do this… we thought the cannon mic would work and it is better than nothing… but when I turn away from the mic it gets quiet. Thanks for the feedback 🙏🏻

Unfortunately not yet… however I do think before long everyone will be moving away from gas/electric refrigerators. You can definite have one installed after production.

It needs a real door to close off the rear bedroom. Something to reduce the sound from a friend or relative sleeping in the front that is snoring or still awake and watching TV. Also to reduce the noise of somebody who is sleeping in the front or in the front while you are sleeping and comes back to use the bathroom. If it had a real door on the back I would seriously consider buying one of these. Perhaps Thor could customized be one with a door for the bedroom? Not just a little thin accordion screen.
Well you could keep the bathroom door closed to the hallway like he showed and use the screen as well in case someone needs the bathroom.

I really like this floor plan because of the reclining couch and separate dinette but not a fan of that small bed in the back that's a deal breaker.. its not a queen bed its a full size 54 inches the queen is 60 inches
This one packs 10lbs into a 5kb bag. Tough to have it all in one package. They make other floor plans with larger beds but then you don’t get the theater seats. Everything is a trade off.
@@RVConcierge What would be cool is if these manufactures could build just an empty shell much like the cargo vans! that way we can build our own floor plan lol
While this unit would not fit our needs, I absolutely love it. My biggest complaint is lack of storage capacity. Only 800+ pounds really goes fast and I think it takes away from the engineering efforts of the people who were able to create an outstanding floor plan with a lot of room for storage but according to the cargo capacity # the unit isn't rated to take full advantage of it.
Sprinters are alway low OCCC. There are other small predicts with higher capacities but they lack the fuel mileage and safety of the sprinter. It’s always a trade off! 🤷🏻♂️
