Do you mean on a base or off base? UXO’s found on base are handled really well. We’ve never encountered an unexploded ordinance off the base.

ik it’s been awhile since y’all purchased your cars but me and my husband are moving there in january and we aren’t able to bring ours, how did y’all go about getting y’all’s cars!?
There are tons of Facebook groups for buying/selling cars. We got Maddy’s car for $1800 on Facebook.
We got Gabe’s car from a well known car lot outside of Kadena Gate 2 called BC Used Cars. It was $4000, but I would highly recommend them. When you purchase a car from there, you get 2-3 year full warranty, a fresh ‘JCI’ (Japanese car inspection) which can run you over $500 alone, and they have a service lot for oil changes etc, which the first few are free. You can also haggle at the lot, the car was listed for like $5600.
