- In this vlog, I show you how I balance being a full-time student, work, and family while staying busy in Okinawa! I take you along on a typical day in Okinawa, where I stay productive while taking advantage of the beautiful island I live on! While this vlog is not all adventures, it is important to normalize daily life in Okinawa☀️ I hope this vlog shows you how you can make the most out of the busy times❤️
I hope you enjoy!

It is indeed😆 Just how I like it haha
I’m thinking of moving here in a couple of years, can you tell me how it was like when you first moved in Okinawa? Was it a bit overwhelming? And do you need to be fluent in Japanese? Sorry I just have a lot of questions 😅 im from the UK by the way
Don’t be sorry! Honestly, I wasn’t not the biggest fan when I first moved but I think that was mostly because of Covid. When we first moved here the restrictions were super strict and it just made the island more isolating then it already can be. But, I have come to love my life here. I love the people, daily life is great, there is so much to do, and it is very affordable! Also, there is no need to be fluent, especially in Okinawa. While it is good to know some words, many people here are more Americanized then mainland Japan and most places will have English as well. It will probably be overwhelming but if you are into slow, island life, you will come to like it. There is also a pretty large western community here aside from military so I am sure there will be ways to socialize as well! Let me know if you have anymore questions and thank you so much for watching❤️
