Excellent tutorial. Visibly clear and all the information including torque settings. The manual transmission has less interference near the inner bolts, so you may find it easier to replace than on an automatic transmission, as less components require removal.

Hello. TRQ. I replaced the same control arms today and I chose your tutorial. It was an easy instruction video and it hit the spot. Was the transmission side that caused me a little grief. Got the job done. Thanks.

2007 Rav4. I replaced both lower control arms with only removing the nut at the ball joint and the two bolts at the bushings. I had to raise the engine to get one of the bolts out.

Couple have asked if it can be done without a lift. Yes. I'm sure it is easier with one. I went down to harbor freight and bought 4 of the 6t jack stands and a 3t high lift jack. It is like having a little mini manual lift.

Will this part fit a 2009 Lexus RX 350 FWD? Is the same as a RAV4 right?

Could someone please tell me the name of the bolt that appears at 3:06, 8:00, and 10:46? A part number would be great also. The head of the bolt rusted off and I need to replace it asap. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not a job for the home mechanic without a lift. Gonna be tough to do in the garage.
