The Queen has no arc in the original fairy tale. Walt made her like the film itself an allegory for the Great Depression & a symbol for 1930s audiences. She’s now a self destructive prototype femme fatale. Her decision to legit turn into an old hag forces her to make the ultimate sacrifice to gain her beauty back & ends up doing her in.
