Gas Proc is a real life term it is the industry term for processing natural gas into usable material like gasoline. Perhaps the pizzaplex was meant to run on natural gas being mined on-site? I could see shutting down those services to try and stop Vanny being a potential idea, and could also serve as ak explanation for why Fazbear leaves the lights on in the pizzaplex at night.
Actually big malls tend to keep their lights on because it is cheaper for a place that big to just keep them on rather than turning the entire facility on or off each day.
Steel Wool had WAY BIGGER intentions than what the final version has. This game could've amazing if Steel Wool didn't have to deal with the technical limitations. I hope the dlc Ruin will be the way Steel Wool wants it to be.
Hope is an extremely valuable state of mind in a time where everyone is so cynical. I too am hopeful that Steel Wool can pull off something amazing with the DLC
I truthfully don't care if they use recognizable locations, but I want them to make up for the games's glitches and atmosphere because it lacked terrifying moments and instead had moments of anxiety because you just didn't want to lose progress
@@AltUTimegod2006 ehhhh no it wasnt, well atleast storywise. Gameplay wise alot better, but story nope. I do not wish to have to read those weird fetish books they are hocking to know what the hell the mimic is, they should explain SOMETHING in game but nope, the DLC is just a glorified ad for those books which is the reason why it was free :/ they had 2 extra years on the original product to drag their heels, not comminicate with each other and slack off to release a failed product. They could have even redeamed themselves by finishing off alot of that content and making a directors cut or something.... they did not, and instead made a quick ad to again say "oh you have to read the BOOKS yes spend more money more and more buy the books!" no thanks.
of course i completely understand the hardware reasons for cutting of a lot of the shortcuts, and the additions of the loading elevators, but man this old version of the map is definitely way more immersive. if the old map could have made it into the game i feel like, despite the story and general gameplay still being pretty shallow, it could have made the overall experience of playing the game and exploring just feel much better and less tedious in some areas. i bet steel wool were pissed off when they realised they probably couldn't ship the game with the map in that state, and had to compromise with closing areas off and adding those elavators.
From what we're aware most of those compromises had to be made 6 months before release when the studio had to shift from making an uncompromised version of the game to having something to release by christmas. It's unfortunate that they had to rush but my hopes are good for Ruin being more focused and complete considering the studios new manpower
It really bothers me how the original version was way cooler than the final version, yes I know, it was necessary to remove all those things/zones, but it still bothers me. I guess all these removed rooms also explains why the game's story is so odd, like some of those rooms were needed for certain missions but since the rooms were removed they also had to remove the missions. Maybe it's just me but from the mission to scape through the loading docks to when Vanessa locks Gregory in lost and found I always had the feeling there was a huge weird gap, like it didn't make much sense to me or something was missing in between so maybe this explains it all. There are a lot of things I found really weird when I first played the game and this video explains a lot of why those weird things, I'd go through all of them but then this message would be massive. Anyway really awesome video, I can definitely see all the dedication and devotion you put on it and it sure paid off
A group of people are making a mod that’s going to add most of if not all of the cut areas seen in the video. it’s called blast to the past so eventually we will be able to experience the uncut pizzaplex.
Not so fun fact: volumes for props exist for every single area on this minimap, meaning that the areas were FULLY FINISHED and STILL got cut. I’m not even kidding, props exist for every single area. The areas were well decorated and detailed, they were all finished, and just deleted from existence.
As someone obsessed with fixing the layout of the final version of the ingame map I am even more OBSESSED with the old version of the map. Watching your videos on it makes me so damn happy. Also the Pizzaplex has become a special interest for me and idk how that works haha ^^ Amazing video thank you!
Its due to hardware limitations but its also a sign of corporate greed. This game could have been 10X better if it got 1 to 3 years more development time but that was not profitable.
@@paranaenselol yeah and imagine if they kept all that stuff and didnt ad loading zones. Would be literally unplayable. Also the bugs actually made the game more popular than it should have been.
No im totally with you I know people weren't happy when this game kept getting delayed but honestly after seeing what it could have been i wish it just got delayed more.
Not too surprised with how much was lost (kind of already knew), but I do wish SteelWool would open up about it. Perhaps after Ruin, and maybe after a second DLC if they decide to do that, they'll give us these maps officially, and we can see what all was lost in areas like the sewers. I do find it very cool that the Pizzaplex really is its own independently operating facility - we've got gas processing (presumably independent power generation and fuel supply for heating and the vehicles? There's a lot of carts, race carts, forklifts and fuel generators around, it would make sense for them to process fuel on-site to cut down on purchasing and shipping costs), independent sewage and garbage systems, the warehouse which presumably ships out from the loading docks to supply the massive amount of endoskeletons to other, smaller locations, and all the other stuff. It would've also been _really_ cool if we'd seen a roof area ever planned for the game, but obviously there's a big difference in modeling requirements between the Pizzaplex, big as it is, and literally the entirety of the environment and town surrounding it. That would've singlehandedly delayed the game by years to make. I'm so, so hoping we get an honest developer's commentary about everything lost to the management-level decision to stop delaying the game - that is the main reason why it's how it is. Well, that and the devs' incredibly ambitious plans with their inexperience at making open-world games, since they specialized in VR. Their modellers and animators are superhuman though, both in Help Wanted (Slight rant here: Help Wanted _also_ has a wealth of cut content and some time crunch issues, but the modular nature of the game makes it much harder to see. I think there were Bidybab and Minireena levels intended, it's likely Vent Repair was meant to have as many levels as the others, Funtime Freddy seems prime to have had unique gameplay that was never developed, and I hope but have no proof for it but there could've been a whole other section utilizing the Nightmares and Funtimes in the private room from SL, since both it and the FNaF 4 rooms are canonically in the same facility which explains why the Funtimes are in Night Terrors to begin with) and in SB. And that's another block of text for people to say they won't read due to its length.
This video has been In the works for a few months now and I'm very happy to finally get it out! Now that this is done, let me know what you think I should try next? More gameplay? Theories? News? When more info for Ruin comes out I'll try my best to adress it in relation to this videos cut content. Thankyou for watching and let me know what you think!
Perhaps a theory?, we already got that 50/20 made gameplay and security breach news is… well… we all know. Perhaps a Vanny theory if you’ve thought about that… perhaps
your video was very exciting for me. You are one of the few times I think someone has done a splendid job. I am making a fnaf sb fangame my way and I wanted to see what comes out between what I think and the abundant discarded content. Your video helped me understand the discarded areas enough to recreate them.
I used to have a modded version of SB from Skizzium (I think that's what it was called) and it let you play the cut survival mode, and there was a party-pass staff bot in that spot that would have had the hallway from the lobby to the West Arcade, and I had no idea about that cut hallway. I was confused by that bot being there, but now it makes a lot more sense.
I never played survival mode with skizzium but you’re right about the party-bots around the building which stand in front of now-cut entrances. An interesting note is that for areas like MontyGolf, when I played survival mode there were two party-bots in front of the entrance, one which was added in for the elevator and one that would’ve guarded the corridor entrance to Monty golf before it was cut. There’s evidence of the cut content all over the place if you know where to look. There may even be enough for me to make yet another video.
Before watching the video, I was expecting to see to already known cut (more popular) areas of the game like the backstage, vip, and the passages that led to Roxy raceway, Monty golf, west arcade, and the daycare. I thought I had known everything But after seeing basement 1, I was shocked once again with the INSANE amount of removed content. It was already crazy seeing all the removed content in tetrabitgaming videos. But this is another level. As much as I hate to say this, I have little to no hope any of this will get added in the Ruin dlc (if steel wool even plans to add any removed content). Its just too much man. Like making a whole new game. Asides all that, this was a really good and entertaining video! Goodluck and all.
i this makes me sad that there was going to be more to the lore than what we have now like in the end of the game when freddy say "if you leave nothing will change and people are going to go missing" its sound's like there was going to be part where freddy and gregory was going to find about the missing people. And you did goood job in this video:)
10:56 that is unbelievable! I hope we get to explore much of the basement in Ruin. It would be the perfect horror element too with narrow dark hallways. Also, I very much enjoyed how thorough you were in presenting the cut areas in the video.
It's crazy how much content was planned and temporarily added, but then randomly removed in the end. A lot of these cut rooms seem super interesting and useful. The multiple staircases and hallways acting as shortcuts to certain locations and attractions. Then there's the important sounding rooms that may have had a very important use in-game where some missions may have resided, probably adding some useful items or upgrades and patching up the story of security breach and finishing the puzzle with those lost pieces. The story was a mess in the current version, but I imagine that's because they had to shorten everything and cut/crop out some things due to issues or lack of time. I wish these rooms could have stayed, but I guess that's not possible. Also. Dude. You are extremely underrated. You need more subs. Have one on the house.
I would of loved if steel wool was given another year on this game. So much content that had to be rushed or cut is staggering and sad seeing what we could have gotten.😢
I think steel wool lost so much potential with the DLC, they could’ve added everything back into the game but the cut areas behind the doors that were out of order now reach to different rooms than what was originally intended. Such as the Monty security office door that originally led to the basement and daycare now reaches to the bakery, and the Roxy raceway originally led to fazer blast security office now reaches to the bowling alley. I really had hope they would add it back in but I guess I am the most disappointed man ever.
I can’t believe I just discovered this video. This has to be one of, if not, the BEST video I’ve seen on SB’s cut content. You absolutely outdid yourself and deserve way more subs, I will definitely be sticking around for more of your stuff :)
Security Breach was always a really good game in my opinion, despite all the game's bugs and such, I loved it, especially the music, and the ambience music. So sad to see what could have been such an expansive map, not get fully released. I already love the Pizzaplex, but if all this content was still in the game, the map would feel more alive, and more like a real location. It would be creepy seeing as the place would be so big, imagine walking around the whole Pizzaplex, hearing the (for example the OST) Otherworldly Ambience 1 playing while you walk around the dark corridors with flickering lights. The music in this game gives me the feeling that there is so much more to explore in the Pizzaplex. *This video was really good and it deserves more attention! It's noticeable you put a lot of time into this. So sad I did not find this sooner. I will probably check out some of your other videos too!*
Otherworldly ambience is legitimately so good. Good to see someone else with impeccable taste :) thankyou very much for the kind words on the video also, it’s massively appreciated.
I really appreciate the effort you’ve put into this to give a much much much clearer look into what the was cut. The map layouts, highlighting which parts you’re talking about, using the debug menu to name all of the previously unnamed areas in basement 1, making the colour coded visual of b1. I can’t imagine how long this took to put together, I’d love to see more of these styled videos when Ruin releases!
Thank you so much for your thorough examination of everything that Steelwool had to cut map-wise. I'm more than a little intrigued to learn about the unused areas of the Pizza plex, trying to map it all together and see if someone could recreate the building with these areas in Minecraft or something. You seriously deserve way more subscribers for your hard work, mate.
Well, it may have took 7 months, but your wish was granted, i'm bulding the pizzaplex in minecraft, i'm currently going to the bakery now, the entrance, the daycare & the atrium are done, oh, and i'm going to make the cut parts too(hope it doesn't bother you that it's in another language)
Good video, I think that sooner or later we will get even more information regarding the old versions of the Security Breach. After all, it usually happens that over time builds of the game at a certain stage of development merge into the Internet, and I think that it will be the same with the Security Breach.
I'm quite surprised that there was a lot of cut content that would've been cool to see in-game. How did Steel Wool Studios able to change a LOT of things within a two-week deadline?
I found door behind bowling alley by chance (where we can find Bonnie in ruin) and it's close to Roxy Raceway, so maybe there would be one more path to raceway: from bowling. But I didn't find any stairs, but maybe there could be path
Dude, you're a genius. You did the best detailed report on the pizzaplex locations cut out, bravo. When you showed the pre-release map of Basement 1, I was dumbfounded, so much missed potential. Honestly, I was most interested in the location at 15:31 because out of all the videos about the cut out content, no one talked about that location. I personally thought that corridor was just reduced in size to optimize the game, but when I found out from your video that a whole network of these passages were cut out, I was just amazed in a bad way. I hope Steelwool brings back at least some of these locations, I'm not even talking about all of them. And I'll give you a like and subscribe. P.S. sorry for the bad english, I'm a russian using a translator bruh.
@@petrichor1987 If you don't mind, can you tell me the name/command of the map you use in the previous cut content video, and does it work on the current version of the game or do you need a pre-release version? Just want to walk around the early pizzaplex myself.
@@Han_8989 The name of the map is "MAP_TheWorld_SEGMENTED-LIGHTING". You will need to downpatch your game in order to load it in though as it's been removed from the latest versions. I'd recomend looking upp how to downpatch a game through the steam console, don't risk using a third party program to do it. Hopefully this helps :)
One thing I like about Security Breach is how I can play again and again and still play it differently, because the Pizzaplex is such a huge building that’s fun to explore and map out. All of this would have made that experience, and the game’s overall experience, really interesting. I really do hope that we will be able to access most of these places in Ruin, but maybe not the elevator ones because those differences would be obvious and… not right. Whoever we play as in Ruin could find Gregory who gives her his passes, and goes to find other ones and access the level 10-12 doors. And many of the other doors in the building including the out of order ones could be easier to pass since the whole building is destroyed now. Though these are just my thoughts.
It does at least seem likely that the level 10-12 doors will be used in some way during the DLC. It’s kind of a Chekhov’s Gun situation. Also thankyou very much for the kind words I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
This game was really missing in interconnectivity I felt. Been doing my first playthrough of it recently (got it on Ps Plus) and I inmediately could tell the map was oddly cut up and that whole rooms and zones were not connected enough. All those elevators to mask zone transitions felt forced too, like they didnt belong. Couple that with the annoying loading screens and stuttering on the ps4 version and just on my first playthrough I could tell this game was chopped to bits during development, so sad to see. The lack of those entrances on the giant corridor where DJ Music Man chases you was something I inmediately noticed as well.
I really wish that they were able to add this all. maybe not EVERYTHING. Some of its just a little too confusing. I wish they had cleaned it up and got it working. I really love the layout of most of the areas that were cut and I love their potential.
This video was so incredibly well made, I’ve been looking through the old map layout myself for quite a while now and this pieces it together better than I have. By any chance is there more evidence to suggest Freddy was supposed to gain Montys legs instead of his claws? In the first trailer we got to see Monty kicking down the gate, foreshadowing he kicks them down instead of clawing them down, as in the final game he punches them which correlates to Freddy doing the same. The hit box for picking up his claws is actually on his legs, which always confused me until considering this a possibility. And Freddy’s Shattered model textures actually have Montys legs on them, outright confirming he’d have had them at one point. I’m curious if there’s any code for it remaining?
From what I've seen there isn't any more than what you mentioned in your comment to prove that at some point Freddy would've used Monty Legs instead. Thanks for the nice words though :)
This is incredible.... I thought I've seen most of the cut content and then they hit us with this. Well made video man, I subscribed! And btw, are you planning to make a video about the cut content readded in the Ruin dlc now that the trailer is out? I'd love to see which routes are now available that were previously cut (19:08)
I am definitely going to be making a video covering all the stuff Steel Wool re-impliments. But as of right now there isn't enough to make a full video on. The trailer we got this week I think only showed 1 room which was only half cut so at the moment I'm going to wait till we see a little more.
Something interesting I found on the west arcade map of the current release is that it shows a tiny corridor behind the first karaoke room when you go up the stairs connecting to the maintenance hallway but it doesn’t seem that there is any corridor left.
I checked in-game and, yeah, you're right. It looks narrow so maybe it used to be a vent entrance to the maintenance hallway that was cut VERY close to the game's release. Good spot man! I never noticed that before. well done.
@@petrichor1987 btw how are you the only person to cover this so great on TH-cam? (atleast that I can find) I feel like there should have been more videos about this because it’s so interesting. if I wouldn’t have found your TH-cam video I would’ve never knew about all cut content, and you should have a lot more subscribers because I feel how much love you put into the video!❤
@@petrichor1987 I don’t quite know how and where to describe it and I don’t want to annoy you, but infront of the main stage in the atrium before you walk up the stairs, there are these red fences and on the right most one and the left most one of the stage underneath there are 2 doors I’ve seen nobody talk about and I don’t know where it could’ve led to, does anyone perhaps know?
@@simizy3726HAPCNW0185 I know the ones you mean, sadly they were either just decorative to imply some kind of stage lift maintenance area, or we just have zero information on them...
My only question is if the Pizzaplex was this big, even with Vanny likely appearing more, would four animatronics be enough? I wonder if Foxy, El Chip, and Mr Hippo could have all had physical appearances/roles. I imagine you meeting them in the story, them being programmed to stay in specific sections but after shattering any animatronic - Glitchtrap or Vanny modify them to leave and hunt you down with unique gimmicks.
Tbh the game would have runned pretty well if they changed it so some stuff would be removed like stuff we cant see and would add them when we are near it + the game looked like it worked pretty fine in the first gameplay trailer bc it looked like ps5 was able run thw full on working ball pit
@@simizy3726HAPCNW0185 Yes, Blast to the Past and Remains, yes, I know the people making the mods, but they weren't being created when I posted this comment
The only thing I can think GasProc stands for is maybe Gas Processing??? Like fuel? There is a raceway, and there seems to be their own Fazbear Brand Fuel for the go-karts they use
Hoping we may get a followup comparing the Ruin-exclusive halls to this map. some may point out the room below Bonnie Bowl is no longer Vanny's, but I'm more focused on how Gator Golf looks to have been significantly lowered; the catwalks below the Bakery is a pretty big clue. Or maybe the Pizzaplex spots in HW2, too?
Looking at all the things cut out of the game, its getting sad, I know to imagine or think about it is stupid, but If it had been postponed until the end of 2022, we can get a "best" game on year, and a one of the best fnaf game, hope we get it in dlc or BIG update/patch.
Literally everything that was cut could've made for much more interesting gameplay and i just wanna say i know it'll never happen but im hoping that Steel Wool makes a major update to release alongside Ruin to include a lot of these unused and cut rooms and locations heck they can even be in Ruin for all i know.
I wish the game got delayed for one more year. or even 2 more years. so much awesome content got cut and I'm upset that the game was so unpolished. This could have been amazing.
They didn't cut it out because they did not have time. They cut it out because they realized that if they had ALL OF THOSE LOCATIONS in the game, then you would need a NASA computer to run it. The reason they replaced the corridors with elevators is because of that reason.
@@PersonianOld I'm not talking about the locations, I'm talking about the mini games and side quests. also, there are bigger games that runs fine on a normal computer. security breach is just poorly optimized.
One small thing about the backstage area, the 2 doors that go underneath backstage weren’t supposed to go under, instead you were actually going through the area. And it did work because in the prerelease you see a fence clipping right through the tunnel.
I would love if steel wool would make the Blast To The Past Mod an official DLC it would be so nice. However I’m sure the person who actually made it would be screwed over
It seems like this could have been a much better game had they planned this out properly and been given more time. I feel like a game of this scale being the first free roam fnaf game required much more time and planning than what was given. This game is a victim of over ambition, and they should have thought about how they could make it expansive but stable.
The problem why they didnt do the map as it was planned is not because of loading times, they can fix that easily. Plus if your pc can load it im pretty sure consoles can too. Main problem is due to the game being hard. Original the game was gonna be all connected because it looked more realistic. But problem is if your being chased by a animatronic. Well there isnt those big doors or the elevators to protect you. Or when to say if you out ran them, which btw isnt possible for some of them sadly. Like monty no matter what stamina or running shoe upgrades you had. Your not gonna be able to out run him. So as said. If those doors or elvators arent there well its gonna be very challenging to save without being chased everywhere 24/7.
Honestly why sure its really cool to see these original plans. It also just shows that steel wool didnt keep the scope in mind along with development time. I feel like they should have started off smaller. Like half of the original plans at least. This way you can secure a budget for bigger plans like this because fnaf is a massive money maker.
And now it's august 2024. The game is still in shambles, although not as bad as on launch, literally nothing of the cut content got added and RUIN turned out to be actually great but also didn't use the missing areas from the main game. We will most likely never see what Securiby should have been in the developers heads.
I don't know if this is true or not but supposedly in June of 2024 we're going to be getting a Modpack for security breach called Blast to the past supposingly this is a mod that adds back cut content from security breach I don't know if this is actually true but I have been seeing teasers about it and a few gameplay trailers here and there
I think I found a difference between the game's Level 1 (atrium) and Ground-floor (lobby): from Level 2, you go down a single escalator to the party tables, but two alongside the pink stairs to the front door. So perhaps its 'Level 1' would be the midpoint of the stairs behind Glamrock Gifts? I could also see this for the zigzag stairs in Gator Golf and the Daycare.
Interesting how nobody talks about the level 10 door to the right of the Bonnie Bowl elevator on the third floor of the atrium. Wonder where that was supposed to lead to?
If you fly behind this door ingame it leads to a Long corridor that leads all the way to the other Side of the Atrium. I think He also Talks about that at 1:30
The more and more I se of cut content from this game, the more and more I think they had something really cool, and it got cut down to what we have now which felt empty.
The more I learn about this games cut content the sadder I get. There is so much here that could have made the game better, but we are stuck with the release version and there is no fixing it.
Idk if you’ll see this but the amount of cut content reminds me heavily of bioshock infinite as both game were extremely ambitious and both steelwool and irrational games kept on adding and adding stuff to their games to the point where eventually they had to ship it and the development process for bioshock infinite was a nightmare to people and for security breach it’s disappointing overall but fascinating how both of these games are similar in terms of both their developers ambitions for their respective franchises. Bioshock infinite was too ambitious for its time since they were having high skyscrapers and huge maps all for last gen hardware such as the ps3 and Xbox 360. In fact they had so much cut content that they could make 5 games with it alone which is crazy. Overall I really really hope that steelwool adds them all back and I just really hope that the future games are better and the dlc good
I've never playerd bioshock or it's sequels myself but it's super interesting to hear that game had similar development issues to Security Breach. Thanks for commenting. :)
It would be rather interesting to see someone meticulously used this video, made a new map, and then re made the game while including better optimizations... 😏
I hope and wish we get a build from around the time that map was made one day but I'll stay realistic and pessimistic and say that I highly doubt that it will ever happen. but at least we have the old map and old footage that let's us see how things could have been
There is an unused section of the west arcade and it’s basically another arcade itself and it would’ve connected to one of the out of order doors within that area and I believe it’s called the hive arcade if I remember correctly it’s also not very big so it’s pretty small It also goes down a second floor which is pretty neat and such
So as far as I'm aware, the hive room was never integrated into the pizzaplex as a whole at any point in development. I think the room was just an aestetics test from Steel Wool. There is no evidence that I'm aware of as to where the room would've gone in the pizzaplex/west arcade.
@@petrichor1987 but if you add it back into the map model with some hacks and such you’ll see where it would be located because the door to it is underneath a staircase and is completely blocked off by a bunch of arcades with that same door being completely out of order
@@shadowgamer-vq8fc Okay I loaded it in and took a look. from what I can see it's from a VERY old version of the west arcade. the main entrance I can see is actually not the door under the starcase but above it on the balcony but the curved staircase makes it improbable. I'm not sure if this area would ever come back. I do think this room is one that Steel Wool have scrapped. But Steel Wool could make it work if they decided to reimpliment it, I don't think it would interfere with the West Arcade > Lobby airlock. So I suppose that is certaily interesting. Thanks for bringing it up :)
Dude I knew they cut a lot from the game based on how it felt to play it on launch and all the missing stuff and it just feeling so disconnected compared to the trailers but holy hell they really took it to the chopping block. I really hope they bring all of this back as this map feels way better compared to the one in the game that still doesn’t even work (along with the old watch UI which looked more cohesive than what they have now with security numbers, batteries, and such all over in the menu). I always felt a lack of content and such when the game released and it was really disappointing bc the game looked super cool and had a cool concept. I really hope the DLC brings even a little of this back and they continue to bring it back with more DLC. I hope if they don’t bring it all back at once, they do it eventually in chunks. The game was going to be awesome if they were able to finish all this, and hopefully they do one day.. Also thank you for this amazing video, it’s well organized and very well done. Can’t wait to show this to my friends and rant to them about how SB can still be good if they add all this back lmao (copium is going mad rn)
Very true, though I'm trying to keep my expectations low since when SB first released I was super hyped and had my expectations through the roof only to be disappointed when playing the game on launch. I really enjoyed it but it felt like it was over before it even started and a lot of stuff left out. So I'm trying to have more realistic and controlled expectations so I'm not hugely disappointed again if it's not added. I do think they'll hopefully add back most, if not all, the util-a-doors, hallways, and basement areas, maybe a few of the old offices, and fixing the UI since it doesn't work and is all over the place (please for the love of fazbear entertainment label the cameras on the mini map I was looking at different angles of the same hallway for ~10 minutes trying to figure out why I kept dying in the prize counter office). If not in this DLC then hopefully future ones, only time can tell right now lmao. I don't think they'll switch out the elevators just yet for the cool hallways as we see in the trailer they're still there, but maybe one day in the future. [[EDIT: Actually I just re-watched the trailer and IDK what this area is, I thought it was the elevators since they have the same door frame shape but it looks to be in a different area or they do not have the elevators anymore in them, it's hard to tell from the angle given.]] I just wish they had actual loading screens with art or something to help out with the loading issues instead of that gif of helpy in the corner while the game lags and black screen with text after you die (that's broken half the time anyway). This DLC will be cool no matter what since the trailer is awesome and seems more accurate to what they planned and leaving out big details leaves expectations more open to what can happen so there's no big promises (unlike the Feb. 2021 trailer where there seemed to be waaay more story-wise). But it would be cool to see them go back eventually and update the base game as well, bringing back old minigames, missions, and game modes.
I hate that they made the pizzaplex 4 floors, like yeah it was probably super laggy or whatever cuz it was so big but AGH it’s such a let down especially because having it two floors is what they wanted and now they can’t really change it
I just want to say that Security Breach is my favourite FNAF game, but this honestly makes me wish that Steel Wool had just come out and said that they needed more time to finish the game, because I prefer this map over the one we have currently. With this pre-release map, everything feels more fluid and coherent, this makes me now despise the elevator system. 🤣🤣🤣 It just baffles me how much they cut out when it looks like a good 85% of the cut content was finished and just needed polishing. I'm no game developer or tester so maybe there was issues with this pre-release map. I mean, the game itself is already 80 GBs, who know how large the file size would have been if they had kept everything in, but it's still a shame that we didn't get to see this amazing map in game. Hopefully, when RUIN comes out, they'll showcase more of this cut map.

Anyway really awesome video, I can definitely see all the dedication and devotion you put on it and it sure paid off
Thankyou so much. Really appreciate you sticking around
Can you See these props somehow ingame,Like outlines or something
Someone needs to make a video about that rn
I know soon will be mod "blast to the past" which will bring back all cut content, so we would explore whole pre release map
Imagine someone makes the game like it was meant to be…. It would be a worthy opponent to the “Joy of Creation”
Isn't the joy of creation an official spin-off thanks to the fanverse?
yeah
With every video i watch of SB cut content, i begin to realise more and more just how massive this game was going to be.
As someone obsessed with fixing the layout of the final version of the ingame map I am even more OBSESSED with the old version of the map. Watching your videos on it makes me so damn happy.

Its due to hardware limitations but its also a sign of corporate greed. This game could have been 10X better if it got 1 to 3 years more development time but that was not profitable.

Tbh I'd like all of them (Gameplay, theory and/or news) so I'd say whichever you prefer
Thanks a lot for the kind words. It means a ton. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
i this makes me sad that there was going to be more to the lore than what we have now like in the end of the game when freddy say "if you leave nothing will change and people are going to go missing" its sound's like there was going to be part where freddy and gregory was going to find about the missing people. And you did goood job in this video:)
10:56 that is unbelievable!
I hope we get to explore much of the basement in Ruin. It would be the perfect horror element too with narrow dark hallways. Also, I very much enjoyed how thorough you were in presenting the cut areas in the video.
Sadly not, the just don’t want us to see prerelease stuff
HOW do you only have a few hundred subs?! This is honestly quite an indepth video and I very much approve!
Thankyou very much. I did put a lot of time into the video so I'm happy that it shows.
I've got some things to say about Ruin's map. I have a pessimistic and optimistic take on it all. But I've got 2 other videos to release first lmao.
@@petrichor1987 yeah me too, just take your time with the videos:)

Thanks for the kind words. I very much appreciate it and I'm glad you enjoyed. :)

@@petrichor1987 No problem! The video was really interesting and I enjoyed it!

Good video, I think that sooner or later we will get even more information regarding the old versions of the Security Breach. After all, it usually happens that over time builds of the game at a certain stage of development merge into the Internet, and I think that it will be the same with the Security Breach.
Such a juicy video from an underrated channel. Subbed!
There is a staircase there in the room system. It would extend down from Bonnie Bowl to where we usually enter Roxy Raceway from in the base game

You earned yourself a subscriber btw, good job on all this work.
Really interesting to see what Security breach used to be. Great video!
Really wel done, the video was well edited and I liked seeing al of this. It’s so sad that so much was changed but great game nonetheless

Not really, they just had to not make the game for ps4..
One small thing about the backstage area, the 2 doors that go underneath backstage weren’t supposed to go under, instead you were actually going through the area. And it did work because in the prerelease you see a fence clipping right through the tunnel.
hey @petrichor1987 i look at the map and COR-RR-6 have a bronze what the name of the map to loded back in?
I would love if steel wool would make the Blast To The Past Mod an official DLC it would be so nice. However I’m sure the person who actually made it would be screwed over
It seems like this could have been a much better game had they planned this out properly and been given more time. I feel like a game of this scale being the first free roam fnaf game required much more time and planning than what was given. This game is a victim of over ambition, and they should have thought about how they could make it expansive but stable.
No one talking abt how the west arcade IS MOVES UP A FLOOR?!
Yea
Congrats my man! You've earned my sub! The amount of dedication it took to map out all those rooms down in the basements is shocking.

I think He also Talks about that at 1:30
@@omegastudios88 at 1:30, He's talking about the balcony originally extending to the other balcony side
@@Goofyahh271 yeah i think that's we're this door was leading to or do you mean another door?
you should have way more subs, good vid :)
The more and more I se of cut content from this game, the more and more I think they had something really cool, and it got cut down to what we have now which felt empty.
It’s kind of sad that half of the map was cut.
Yeah it is. But I’m hopeful they’ll be re-implemented in the DLC
I wish theyd kept the og layout, feels more real. I dont mind the sizing down of rooms tho
holy shit these floors are MASSIVE
think you get lost in the current pizzaplex? THINK AGAIN
please make more of these types of videos i have been watching this same video over for like 4 months i need more sb content
I've got at least one more of these in the pipeline. I've got some other things to finish first though so hang tight.
@@petrichor1987 thank you so much for an update 🙏
LISTEN STEEL WOOL KEEP UPDATING SB AND ADD THESE THINGS EVERY UPDATE CUZ I WANT MORE ENDINGS OR SECURITY UPGRADES
Thank you for making this video.
you're very welcome :)
It would be rather interesting to see someone meticulously used this video, made a new map, and then re made the game while including better optimizations... 😏
I hope and wish we get a build from around the time that map was made one day but I'll stay realistic and pessimistic and say that I highly doubt that it will ever happen. but at least we have the old map and old footage that let's us see how things could have been
I definitely think the Monty chase looked way better.
Blast to the past rn:🌚
Very excited to play that mod
@@petrichor1987 you’re welcome and sorry for mixing up its location I didn’t exactly remember where it was located in the west arcade
Glad you enjoyed the video. Let's turn that copium into hopium, Ruin is very close.
[[EDIT: Actually I just re-watched the trailer and IDK what this area is, I thought it was the elevators since they have the same door frame shape but it looks to be in a different area or they do not have the elevators anymore in them, it's hard to tell from the angle given.]]
I just wish they had actual loading screens with art or something to help out with the loading issues instead of that gif of helpy in the corner while the game lags and black screen with text after you die (that's broken half the time anyway).
Hey! I know i’m late but i’m pretty sure the cut map Utility south east coroner it’s gator golf’s plants gg in B1 I think.
I wonder how Fnaf Security Breach would be like if these stuff were uncut + gasproc means toxic gas or something
10:56 my brain hit a blue screen
How did u get the pre-realeased version pleaseee tell me btw i watched this video abt 1M times 😍
I hate that they made the pizzaplex 4 floors, like yeah it was probably super laggy or whatever cuz it was so big but AGH it’s such a let down especially because having it two floors is what they wanted and now they can’t really change it
It makes me wish for what could've been.
Update: I've become depressed when reaching the basement.
I wish steel wool got another year to finish the game…
It would have been a much better game.
@Petrichor what s the music called in the background during basement 1 section
It's "Venta Black" from FNaF Sister Location
@@petrichor1987 thank you!
@@petrichor1987 how did you get the music, like download it
I simply found a re-upload of it on TH-cam and downloaded that as an MP3 using 3rd party methods.
@@petrichor1987 ohhh
I just want to say that Security Breach is my favourite FNAF game, but this honestly makes me wish that Steel Wool had just come out and said that they needed more time to finish the game, because I prefer this map over the one we have currently. With this pre-release map, everything feels more fluid and coherent, this makes me now despise the elevator system. 🤣🤣🤣
It just baffles me how much they cut out when it looks like a good 85% of the cut content was finished and just needed polishing.
More and of the old beta version FNAFSB get the closer we get to bring it back to how it was supposed to be
