Love seeing the "old" Jessica back in life's every day and night happy, energetic, giving precious extra time to be with your Mom and getting out of the house to see your friends and also your brother....or shopping with Momma! YOU are bubbly and the "baby girl" your Momma knows and your Dad too! God bless you honey and your brother and your parents! Sending positive vibes and love to you and the family. ☺ 💗
I love love love your intro music! So 70s ish. I have put several of your books on my Audible wish list. By the way. I am a Missouri grandma and I want you to know how very proud I am of you and your journey! What a special young lady you are.
Jess you look and sound so much stronger than just a few weeks ago. I'm glad you're working on your stamina walking with your dad and pup. School can be a lot but you've got this. Stay strong and take care.
Jess, I love puzzles and always have one going. The easiest for me is to put the entire border together before you start on the inside. I don’t think I would ever finish a puzzle if I did not put the border together first and I have been doing them all my life. I am 70 and also a voracious reader.
Yep, borders/edge pieces are ALWAYS done first on puzzling. It also allows you to put like things together, which helps put the rest of it together. Shades, colors, and what not. Are used to not be good at it, but I figured those things out and got better.
Puzzle tips that help me. Sort edges first and get them together. Then sort shapes (1 in 3 out, 3 in 1 out, adjacent sides in and out, opposite sides in and out, all in, all out). Look at the box and see if there are blocks of color you can sort out and piece together and get in approximate position. Most of all, have fun...and celebrate with a happy dance when you get the last piece in place.
Puzzle TIP!: collect those pieces with a straight edge and put them in a pile to start making the frame. You can also color code the pieces which is often easier because the piles minimize!❣️
I just wanted to let you know how you have inspired me and have saved my life. I began watching your vlogs and cheering you on your struggles and fight. But with a big shadow over me because it had been years since my last obgyn check up. I went on to finally make that appointment and they have found precancerous cells. So I am scheduled for a Leep procedure and now will be monitored more closely. Many women never think it could happen to them. Or like myself put off the exam thinking it can wait. Thank you sweet girl for sharing your journey and getting me to get checked.
Jess your color is looking so good I’m so happy for you that you love to read so much …… and that you are going on walks and have a good appetite can say enough how happy we all are for you ……❤
Darn you Jess!!! Now I have to watch Vampire Diaries again!!!! I love that you are feeling better and getting back to school and the norm! Oh for puzzles, build the outside then work your way in unless there is certain objects that are easy to piece together then do them to get them out of the way! I love puzzles and books but haven't had time for either!
So glad you are doing well! Also, I am tickled to see that my book club, and myself, are reading/read a lot of your books that have hit your new shelves! Your Mom rocks!
Love all of your videos Jessica! So looking forward to the 'book club' with you and your Mom. I just finished listening to Love, Tragically on audio in almost one sitting (12 hours). Wow is all I have to say. Really enjoyed it! Have a great week Jessica and so glad you are feeling as well as you can be, considering! Sending you and your family lots of love from the West Coast! 💖💗💖
🌻 the bookcases will be overflowing with great Read's. Hoping each week gets easier to plough through for classes. It can be challenging at home for school or work. Enjoy the weather that's happening 🍂
I use to love putting puzzles together. I used a white large piece of foam board and that way I could move it around and the white helped the pieces show up better! You are looking so much healthier, I said on your mom’s video how much you look like your dad, truly ❤
You're looking so much stronger I'm so happy for you. Hugs and prayers continue to come to you and your family for all you've been going through honey. Keep the faith sweet girl and lean on Jesus.
I am enjoying your content. Puzzles are fun. Sometimes I just do sections and then start fitting them together. Borders do help but not always😅. Thanks for sharing.
My in-laws did puzzles all the time and said they always started making the frame first. You may already know and do this but if not it might be worth trying. Your looking good I’m hoping you feel as good as you look.
Sounds like a great morning. That's great that you're able to tolerate coffee a bit better. Sounds like you're taking some great classes this time around. That sounds like a great book. Your matcha looks delicious. I love your mood lighting for your bookshelves. That book looks like fun. That puzzle looks interesting. I don't like puzzles, either. Great process for making your matcha latte. That's a very nice library. That sounds like a nice evening. That sounds like a great Friday morning. You both did great work in getting that room cleaned up to be your book club room. That sounds like an interesting book. That sounds like a fun evening.
LOVE puzzles I have 3 waiting to be done, I just have to remember to pull them out (ADHD brain, out of site out of mind) I think I’m going to frame them. I got specific ones that’ll go good in a few rooms at my house.
I am 68 and I am an obsessive harry potter fan. I only read the books a few years ago and had only seen the first three movies. So sad how many characters have passed on. They will be remembered as immortals. Love to see you looking and sounding so great. You go girl. ❤
if you want a long fun project to do, buy all the jigsaws you can and then do the jigsaw and stick it to your wall instead of wall paper, my grand daughter spent $50 on used jigsaws and stuck them to her bedroom wall... looks pretty good.
Last week when I said you would love the Harry Potter books, I started to tell you (but didn’t) to listen to them on audio books because the actor who reads them (Jim Dale) is soooo good! I hope you continue to enjoy the books, I’m sure you will. I just started reading Assistant to the Villain yesterday. So far I am enjoying it. Continue to be patient with yourself and healing, it takes about 6 months to feel normal again after chemo and / or surgery. You are doing fantastic!
I've pretty much given up on vampires, but every October, I reach for some of the classic Hammer ones with Christopher Lee. When Mary Shelley was writing Frankenstein, another houseguest named Polidori was writing a vampire tale decades prior to Bram Stoker. That was in 1816, aka "the year without a Summer". BTW, have you ever watched Veronica Mars? If not, you might enjoy it.
So nice to see you happy and feeling good again. How do you drink something that's green? Don't know why but the fact that it's green is what keeps me from drinking it.
Eamon and Becs , matcha tea! It looks yummy. Good to see you looking better every week. We have a 5y old cocker spaniel that is still crated at night and if home alone 😂.
I have had that problem remembering simple words or words I used to know/use often. I also (though no where near as much or as long as you did) have gone through chemo. The forgiveness and gaps/laps in memory (if didn't know) is called Chemo brain. It is result of the chemo chemicals effect on brain.
Chemo brain is real. It should get better as your brain heals from the chemo. I still have a lot of memory problems 5 years out from chemo, but i take a lot of meds for neuropathy and pain. You being young and healthy will bounce right back. I'm so happy to see you doing so well!
We all have our own way of doing a puzzel, but I always start with the edge pieces, its then easier to and not so daunting to get the rest of the puzzel done. Once the edge is done, look for certain things of the picture, it's a lot better to get it all together.❤❤
I have never watch the Vampire Diaries but I think I might give it a go. I have however finished Love Theoretically (devoured in a weekend) and I am looking forward to Book Club!! (and I just bought the Ex Hex; looks awesome)
W*A*L*K! Love it...just wait for when your smart dogs will learn to spell. Our dogs are such gifts to us. I'm brand-new here and I admire your spirit. I just started watching your mom and the sheep. An amazing family.
Hey, Jess! Great video! I always get so many great ideas for books to read from your videos. Do you have a date for the book club video yet? I want to make sure I have the book read in time. Thanks!
My cancer booklet referred to memory problems from treatment such as chemo or radiation. This is temporary but do let it concern you. It is "normal" Best wishes. Have followed your Mom since she started. My Tabby cat loves lambs.
I'm with you Jess, I hate books that have those edges - which are called deckled edges. I will avoid any book with them, even if I really want to read it, I will wait until a regular edge edition is available.
Shalom.Sweet Jess..Smile always..Be blessed!.Be strong!. Prayer is covering you and your lovely parents.Jesus loves you too. Stay focus on God..God Bless.Amen !😊❤

look for pieces that are edges to the puzzle first so you will have a big open square this really helps!!
Jess you look and sound so much stronger than just a few weeks ago. I'm glad you're working on your stamina walking with your dad and pup. School can be a lot but you've got this. Stay strong and take care.

It's great to see you getting back into things Jess xx
I hope you're feeling healthier and stronger every day. I adore reading as well
From a long time puzzle doer, a hint always pick out all the edge pieces and build the outside then work on the inside pieces.
You're looking so much stronger I'm so happy for you. Hugs and prayers continue to come to you and your family for all you've been going through honey. Keep the faith sweet girl and lean on Jesus.

Loved Assistant to the Villian! It's different and that was so refreshing. Warning! Cliff hanger!
Thanks Jess. 🍁🍂🍁💚🙃
I’ll have to put vampire diaries on my list, the beginning looked pretty good.
Just saw your moms video and the library looks amazing!!! I love it.
I've pretty much given up on vampires, but every October, I reach for some of the classic Hammer ones with Christopher Lee. It might help if you do the outside frame first on your puzzle. ❤❤❤
another great vlog jess
Glad to see you are doing well ❤
Such a great video. So glad to see that gappy smile and beautiful spirit. ❤❤❤❤
Jessica, never give up.
Thank you for sharing!! I love puzzles also!
Jess, have you watched the Originals the first spin off from Vamp Diaries?
So nice to see you happy and feeling good again.
How do you drink something that's green? Don't know why but the fact that it's green is what keeps me from drinking it.
Eamon and Becs , matcha tea! It looks yummy. Good to see you looking better every week. We have a 5y old cocker spaniel that is still crated at night and if home alone 😂.
I do jigsaw puzzles on my iPad. I am addicted to doing them.
Me too, with 5 cats, actual jigsaw puzzles are not on the schedule.
I'm so sorry for what you've had to go through

Great vlogg ❤
Stay well Jess.
May I suggest going to Bulk Barn for the Epsom salt? I do find it cheaper overall for bulk buying .
I love series books!! Could you show the size of the print?
Love Harry Potter!!!
Jessica, You are looking great..your are just truly an amazing soul ❤❤❤

❤ the purple lights 💜💡in your bedroom! Do you use a comforter or duvet?
Jessica, I am glad that you are back studying. It helps you keep your mind out of things. Is this your last year of University?
We have a BIG tv sitting in our living room that will probably stay there and be part of the sale of our house when we pass on. 🤣🍁🍂🍁💚🙃
Jess, There you are. Glad to see ya.
Hi Jess!! I’m wondering what the drink you made tastes like?? Was it called a matcha latte? It’s so good to see you getting back into things. 💜
i find it tastes similar to green tea.
@@jessicabrock. ok thank you! Unfortunately I don’t like green tea. 😝💜
Jess were do you order your books 😊
I have never watch the Vampire Diaries but I think I might give it a go. I have however finished Love Theoretically (devoured in a weekend) and I am looking forward to Book Club!! (and I just bought the Ex Hex; looks awesome)

Hey, Jess! Great video! I always get so many great ideas for books to read from your videos. Do you have a date for the book club video yet? I want to make sure I have the book read in time. Thanks!
i’ll make a community post about book club tomorrow!
@@jessicabrock. looking forward to it! Thank you, Jess!
Hi Jess, I'm so happy you are feeling much better. Quick question where did you buy your grey sweater? Sending prayers from Limoges, Ontario, Canada🙏🙂
My cancer booklet referred to memory problems from treatment such as chemo or radiation. This is temporary but do let it concern you. It is "normal"
Best wishes. Have followed your Mom since she started. My Tabby cat loves lambs.
Hi jess❤😊
Thanks for sharing.
miss u vlogging more
You can never have too many books
That memory lapse thing is called chemo brain. I have it x2 because mine is combined with menopause brain.😂
Have you tried TikToks blind date with a book?
I'm with you Jess, I hate books that have those edges - which are called deckled edges. I will avoid any book with them, even if I really want to read it, I will wait until a regular edge edition is available.
What are you studying in school? (I’m new to your channel. I found you through your mom’s channel 😊)
What kind of laptop do you use?
You need to try adult paint by number. I’m on my third project now. It’s time consuming, I spend about an hour a day.
If you get the edges done first it will be easier, I think.
❤❤
Thank goodness you only have a book problem. I have an old truck problem and I've spent almost $400 in 3 days on parts for my one truck.
❤❤❤❤❤
😇😇😇💜
I just finished Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros and it was amazing. As a fantasy fan I thought you might be interested
💕💕💕
I’m not on Instagram or Tik Tok.
I’ve read the book club book but have no idea when the book club discussion will be. Help, please?
Oh I love puzzles I have over 200 of them I can do 1000 piece of puzzle in a week or less
Do the fram first!
❤
🙂.
So beautiful ❤❤❤😊
Hey, Take it easy you don't want to over do it as an old timer will tell you minds willing but the the body says wait a freaking minute nap time. Lol😂
