I think it is good if they want to go back to kvk and create a new account. The only players I see going to Young Kingdom to have an AOO Team or help develop that kingdom. If you don't want to deal with crystal tech go to a D seed kingdom where players tech is not that high.

Not all kds can afford spenders(native t5) and all active players know to migrate to kds with whales to progress better. But the restriction added is definitely very good for new players to experience the game.
I fully agree with you. I´m jumping into kvk5 now and kvk4 was 100 times better than kvk2 and 3 (I'm a low spender). Kvk2 is a nonesense and people that say "its because of the crystal tech" are lying. The commanders are trash in kvk2, you move slow, you dont have good equipment... you are playing at 20% of the potentital of SoC. Happy to see those changes even though I couldn't have them for me.
Any decent player in old kds has 5 marches, vip 16 at least, 3 or more legendary sets, armaments with 25% troop type stats and with 4 or more inscriptions
I think 1 year is the sweet spot to be honest. Because unless you completely neglected every commander prior to kvk 3, meaning you didn’t have a great time in kvk 1 or 2, you will then and only then have enough for one, maybe 2 soc comms when you get to kvk 3. Which also depends on your spend level. I’m currently 70 mil power about to go into kvk 3 and will have MAYBE one serviceable march. And before this update I planned on migrating back to kvk 2 again but not to beat up on natives, but to accumulate more enough gold heads to actually feel relevant in the end game.
A massive reason I would migrate back to KvK2 (I’ve done it once), was to create a Kingdom of my own with buddies in leadership… and strengthen, educate, and dominate with the natives there as well. It worked beautifully, it’s been 1 year.. majority of the natives are T5 now, shitton of KP etc. I’d argue that that’s why most people migrate back.
Tbh what they should do is exactly what they are doing but add a kvk 2 style kvk option for season of conquest kingdoms where season of conquest only kingdoms can compete in.
It's really a big pleasure for soc accounts to dominate natives in kvk 2, even if i was a soc player and migrated to kvk 2 i would feel that, but this is the breaking point where most new players give up. Because they're just going to be overwhelmed by those accounts and some might even lose hope to even be that strong. So yeah i think this update is good overall. Some are saying good and bad but the bad thing about this is just for the joy of those soc accounts.
I'm in kvk 2 now with 3435. We had a bad migration where our king capped the migration to 65m and most of our t5s are deadweights and inactive. We fought againts 3431 with a 1v1 where they have tons of fighters... so many. So our fights were really mostly natives. We still did hold on for a bit and i'd say it's impressive for natives to hold on to soc accounts. Our t5 natives were nothing to those soc accounts, they were just swarming everything and most of those soc accounts can do 5 marches with full legendary gears. Like wtf are we native t5s and t4s supposed to do with that spartan?
Now we are almost turning into a dead kingdom because most players from 3435 went to find a kingdom with great migrants. For now the case is which kingdom had good migrants. But when this update is applied it will be which kingdom is the most active and coordinated.
It took them way too long to make this restriction, how many new players quit over the years because of cringe bully accounts going to kvk 2 to feel strong against much younger accounts?
It's a great change , power players should be fighting against as strong as players as themselves and stop taking away from fun of smaller players. Amazing video my dear friend

Its very good and the only player who dont like the update are player who wanted to migrate back to kvk for killing new player with their 3 year old acc ruining their fun The "no crystal tech" is just a excuse cause they not wanna say they coming back only for massacring new playerbase
And this is already with limitation 30 players per kd, before there were hundreds of t5 players migrating to kvk 2, my 1st kvk 2 was 8 imperiums for the season, rank 999 in power was 78m 😂
