I am currently curled up in a ball, almost crying, because of a lot but also torn between wanting to declutter all my stuff or holding onto my things. But the money is already spent. I need to try to nix the guilt. I also want to look into selling whatever I can

I’ve struggled with this before and what I do is not only gift it directly to someone (usually through my buy nothing group), but I also think that the purpose of the item was just the joy I got when I bought it. A lot of the stuff I buy, I return and if it’s past the return window, I sell it or give it away. I think that there are some items in which their only purpose for us was to be bought and given away. And that’s okay, because it happens to everyone

We're doing the same thing! Decluttering and selling all the old things we don't need. Looking forward to moving into a new house with fresh belongings. Although I'm very sentimental and it's so hard to let go of things!

Preparing to move is a great time to declutter! Thinking about physically moving things is a great motivation to get rid of them! Please save those medical records. You can probably access and print them again, but I've found it helpful to hang onto one paper copy of medical records. You could put the converter into a suitcase so that when you do travel again, you won't need to buy a new one. I know you're trying to get rid of stuff, but if you think you'll ever travel to a foreign country again, why have to rebuy something that will take up no room in a suitcase? Last, but definitely not least, is your family in Texas safe?
I’m from Ontario, Canada and my parents have driven down to Round Top twice. I hope to go one day when we can travel again.

Yessss it's spring cleaning season! I just did a major t-shirt purge in my closet over the weekend. I definitely need to do more, though... especially cosmetics and, like, hair care kinds of things. Thanks for the motivation!

If you ever want to try dryer balls again, I leave mine in the dryer so I don’t have to think about them. They’re just always ready to use. I also love using peppermint or lavender essential oils on the balls to help add some scent to the fresh clothes. 😊Katie

I am planning to move across the country at the end of this summer and I need, and want to get rid of most of what I own, but I look around and it is overwhelming. I also hate to think about how much money I have spent on these things, and most I like but would not say that I love.

I’ve been doing this for months! I’m not great at it and I want to keep all my child’s things. We move in August and while we don’t know where the military will send us, we do need to move with less stuff. 😂 to be fair though everyone is always saying how the came here with 8-12 crates and we only brought 4.
I try to declutter every 6 months, but after subscribing to several boxes, I need to do it more often and cancel some of those subscriptions and put a couple on hold to give me time to catch up.
