Also, do you have any suggestions on bakeware? We've decided to get rid of our old pans but you seem to find a lot of great products. Future video? I'd love your answer in the meantime if you have any suggestions. Or if anyone else is reading this and seen something she's suggested. :)
If you have a habit of breaking glasses ( your not on your own with that lol ) stick to all same colour so if accidentally breaks one they still match xx
The place we lived in before the house we currently live in had open shelving and I HATED it. Only because everything got sooo dusty. I feel like I had to rewash my dishes every time I used them. That’s something I would keep in mind.
I took off some doors on my cabinets for display and some cabinets still have doors. It looks really nice. I’m sooo happy to hear you say you enjoy putting things together. I too love putting things together. We have shelves throughout the house because of it. I have the pipe look hardware for shelves and plant hangers everywhere. I enjoyed his video concept. Very relaxed. ❤️❤️
You know you're an adult when you're excited about kitchenware 😂 Will there be any Summer Mornings items to be added into your kitchen? Or perhaps something that's already there but hiding away 😁
You will love the pull-out shelves! They really help me with my lupus and fibromyalgia issues. Possible solution for the tilting shelf: attach a long wooden block that extends all the way down each side of the cabinet to act as a stop to keep the shelf from tilting when it is pulled out to various lengths. Have it wide enough to just barely extend past the top of the wire on the side of the shelf. I hope this makes sense. It is nailed or glued to the cabinet wall just above the shelf and does not attach to the shelf itself. The landlord should have no problem since it is inside the cabinet.
I am really excited to watch your house vlogs. I just bought my forever condo and will move in permanently in May. I am so happy to plan my new home and organize my space efficiently and ascetically. You are inspiring me and I feel like I have a community surrounding my efforts. ❤️
The idea of open shelving makes me worried about dust settling on my dishes, especially if I plan to eat off of them. But you should do whatever makes you happy!
I think mismatched glasses have character, some older ones in my cupboards bring back fond memories when I use them...let's hear it for the poor glasses that have no friends😕😄! I love the new pan...need one. My dream kitchen was red gingham table cloth and curtains, and that brown shiny drip ware with the creamy drip around the edges and tops...I'm 64 and still don't have it, why I call it my dream kitchen. I say go for different colors with you new glasses, but you do you dear. Make you happy!😄 I love being handy too😊, you go girl. Yes, love this video.
For the display of beautiful servewear, what about above the toaster oven, putting glass doors? It might turn into a bit of a project if you want to paint the inside but doable I think! And then you could see them from the dining area and den area. If you do beside the fridge, I would do shorter square shelves (maybe 3) so the shelf isnt taking up the whole wall and itll look like it's meant to be there
Maybe install a counter/shelf a little above the trash so it blocks the shelves from the trash more. Also get the orange and green glasses to go with the brown ones you have. Having the three colors would be so pretty
Love your new kitchenware! One thing to keep in mind about having dishes on open display is that they will get dusty and/or pick up grease from cooking near them. You'll have to constantly be rinsing or washing them before using. Personally, I'd rather use a glass-door cabinet to display dishes. That way you can see them, but they are kept cleaner.. Just a thought.
Such a fun and light vlog. Open shelving is definitely and fun and worth while idea, but you could also get something similar to a buffet with see through doors on it!
I say take the cabinet doors off and cover the inside of the cabinets with white contact paper (you might not want to paint them since you are renting for now). Then put new plates stacked next to new bowls on bottom shelf. The next shelf up, I would get 12 total of that new smoky color glass you just got and donate ALL of the mismatched glasses to a charity shop. You said you wanted to upgrade 😉 And I also care as much about how the inside of my cabinets (even the closed ones) look as much as you do. LOL!!
Lol 😂 I’m in my 30s having my 4th baby. When I grow up I will totally buy serve wear like this because I love it 😻 but it will have to wait. Ikea plate packs till then. Pull out draws are the best!!
You can put the trash can under the sink and buy a cabniet with a glass in the front so you can see your cute pieces. Take care and be safe. Love you sis. 💖❤💖❤💖❤💖❤💖❤💖❤💖❤💖❤💖❤💖❤💖❤
I love your focused vlogs... Please do these types for all home projects you have.... And yeah do the open self.... But remove the trash can if possible... Add a plant instead of trash can there... See you
⚠️ Michel, be careful of the shorter handle (opposite the long handle) of the Always pan, as it is not heat safe! Remember to use a mitten bc it'll burn your fingers if its just off the stove. 🔥
I stuck my Google home to the wall with a command strip and it worked great to get it out of the way on the counter. I wrapped the cord around the outside and stuck it next to the outlet, looks so much better!
Hi, putting shelves next to fridge bad idea, risque of hitting and hurting yourself is high. But I would explore putting shelves in front of window between cabinet. There is nice inspiration on Pinterest with that concept.
I like the clogs cause it feels like we're hanging out! I think the shelf would look kid of funny or crammed in that space, but I do agree that the plates and stuff are beautiful and it's a shame they're in the cupboard!
I love Our Place. They are coming out with something new all the time and out of stock on every item quite bit. Worth the wait, to have the complete collectionI think I have everything but the glasses. I am happy with the complete set of my own glassware.
We have been upgrading some of our cooking items recently as well. I love the pantry sliding drawers! I bought one for our pantry and absolutely love it. I procrastinated on it as well but it's so worth it! I really enjoyed the video :) loved all the organizing!
Hi Michel. Just my opinion....I wouldn’t bother with the open shelves. As for the sliding trays lifting the shelf, you can just screw in a stopper at the back of the shelves to stop them from lifting.
Hey Michel, hope you are doing well. Love your vlogs. I recently discovered a new clothing store that I love. It is my new favorite and it makes me think of your esthetic. Its called mango. Plus they have a home/decore line coming out in a few days. It would be so cool to see you review some clothes and some new items from the home and decor line.
Loved the focused vlog! I think the shelf above the trash would be a bit cluttered and odd. This is random, but I really don’t mind the way you do sponsorships. You love each brand and you are so humble about the sponsorships. As you continue to grow, hold on these values. Love you much!!
The focused vlog was nice! I really enjoyed it! Also I think those shelves would be cute. The hight might are a different on cute or not so that's what I'd focus on if doing it.
So fun seeing you organize! I would go with three glass colors, and i like the open shelving idea but i don't think it works next to the fridge and trash... It just seems like it would look out of place and make the room feel too cluttered. But that's just my opinion!
Soooo random thing I do for my medication! I bought like a cute canister to put on my counter and filled it with my prescription bottles. If i have someone over I can just put the lid on it if not I keep it open to remember to take them (also one of my friends did like a bread box and put a little lock on it bc she has kids) not sure just an idea
I like the idea of open shelving to display your beautiful kitchenware, but I think that placement just doesn’t work sorry! Even though it’d be open, it’d be hidden behind your fridge sticking out so most guests still wouldn’t be able to properly see and appreciate it 😕 and it might be a little strange above the bin and is that also right next to the bathroom? I personally just don’t think that spot would be very good. This might be random and maybe too far away from your kitchen, but is there a wall in your dining room like between the two office doors that could work? That way it’s like wall art/decor but also useful?
My parents got me the Always Pan for my birthday and I looooove it. Was it worth the full price if I had bought it myself? I don't know - but it was worth sending my parents to get it on Black Friday and buy it for me.
I finally got to try an Ollipop today (root beer flavor) and loved it! Bonus my daughter loved it too. Now I need to go back to your video and get the code to order a case. :-) Thanks for the great new vlog.
Maybe it’s me but I think the bowls would be good kept in a cabinet still. It might feel too cluttered on the countertop when you get more things. I think a floating shelf would be great but I think taking off the cabinet doors would end up looking too messy. Love your vlogs! 🥰
Really love the new kitchen set and the color is gorgeous. So are the plates, bowls and pan dishwasher safe? We need new bowls and plates and our pots and pans are chipping a bit so yeah we need new stuff lol.
I would make sure your shelves have a lip or frame, due to California earthquakes. I’m. Native Californian and put a little piece of putty under a bowl or glass item I left out on a shelf. Just a thought
I don't like open shelving for dishware, it makes me anxious about dust, germs, and other stuff settling on my dishware and ultimately getting into my food.
I was just given a code today!!😍😍😍 MICHELJANSE10 for 10% off🥰 love y’all SO MUCH!
Just ordered it! Happy Mother's Day to us soon!
It's been a rough day. Seeing your vlog pop up made my day instantly better!
I would install a small L bracket at the rear of each shelf to keep the shelf from tipping.
I was literally going to suggest that myself.😂
Just a simple nail will do too probably
Chill vlogs are awesome content! I also vote for a variety of colored drink ware, and a shelf in that space would be super cute. 👍
I like the idea of having a shelf to display all of your nicer mugs/ bowls. We have the same thing in our kitchen, for our nicer, 'fancy' glasses
I do prefer the focused vlogs. This was great, nice job on Pantry drawers.
The place we lived in before the house we currently live in had open shelving and I HATED it. Only because everything got sooo dusty. I feel like I had to rewash my dishes every time I used them. That’s something I would keep in mind.
Yes to the 3 different colors on the glassware! These are so cute!
Thanks for the discount for Our Place!
For Mother’s Day, I ordered one for my Mother and one for myself🌸
I took off some doors on my cabinets for display and some cabinets still have doors. It looks really nice. I’m sooo happy to hear you say you enjoy putting things together. You know you're an adult when you're excited about kitchenware 😂 Will there be any Summer Mornings items to be added into your kitchen? Or perhaps something that's already there but hiding away 😁
I love the shelf idea! And if you're leaning to get more colors, the green version of the cups are gorgeous!
You will love the pull-out shelves! They really help me with my lupus and fibromyalgia issues. I’m so happy to watch this video! Kitchen looks good
I need to get me and my mom this plan! Thank you for such a good Mother’s Day gift idea Michel! 😍❤️
The idea of open shelving makes me worried about dust settling on my dishes, especially if I plan to eat off of them. But you should do whatever makes you happy!
For the glasses I would do different colors 😄
Im always looking for new gorgeous cookware!! I feel like I spend most of my day in the kitchen
same color glasses would be the most practical. If one's broken its still feeling like a set and not odds and ends
I think mismatched glasses have character, some older ones in my cupboards bring back fond memories when I use them...let's hear it for the poor glasses that have no friends😕😄! I love the new pan...need one. Put a shelf over the kitchen window. They make a lot of cute step stools so you can reach
Yes the diy shelves would be perfect there!!
Maybe install a counter/shelf a little above the trash so it blocks the shelves from the trash more. Also get the orange and green glasses to go with the brown ones you have. Having the three colors would be so pretty
Get all the glasses. All the colors. You said you go through them. So y not? Love your content.
I love that you're so handy! It is such an accomplishment to put furniture/appliances together~
Such a fun and light vlog. Open shelving is definitely and fun and worth while idea, but you could also get something similar to a buffet with see through doors on it!
I LOVE the plates and glasses, but wish the glasses came in larger sizes. Great job on installing the sliding pantry shelves!
Vlogs are my favourites and I really enjoy this focus vlogs as well. I love kitchenware as well! It's just so satisfying!
It’s always a Good Friday when I try a new coffee and watch Michel’s vlogs!!
You rock doing all that home stuff yourself . Good for you !
I'd love to know your recipe for your iced vanilla cappuccino. It looks so good.
Oh man. This is the 1st sponsored blog I got a little green about. I've been eyeing Our Place for years! Happy for you. Someday!!❤️
Pull drawers for pantry with deep shelves comes in handy...
This was probably my favorite vlog to watch ever :) And your kitchen looks AHMAZING!
It sounds funny to say, but I’m so proud of your channel growth and sponsorships! Good work!☺️👏👏 also loving the house vlogs and projects 😄
Keep the glasses all one color! Also loove this style of video, especially organization videos!!
Enjoyed this so much. Everything looked so good. I'd stay with the same color for the glasses. I love your joy and enthusiasm.🥰
I say take the cabinet doors off and cover the inside of the cabinets with white contact paper (you might not want to paint them since you are renting for now). You said you wanted to upgrade 😉 And I also care as much about how the inside of my cabinets (even the closed ones) look as much as you do. LOL!!
Obsessed with this vlog’s sponsor!! And so perfect for the themed vlog 👏 Love these more informal, personal videos! 💕
Lol 😂 I’m in my 30s having my 4th baby. When I grow up I will totally buy serve wear like this because I love it 😻 but it will have to wait. Ikea plate packs till then. Pull out draws are the best!!
I absolutely love your vlogs. They’re one of my favorite things to watch. I watch all of them!
Watching Jan 2022 bc I’ve been binging and these are the plates/bowls of my dreams! I can’t wait to upgrade my kitchen now!!!
You can put the trash can under the sink and buy a cabniet with a glass in the front so you can see your cute pieces. Take care and be safe. Love you sis. 💖❤💖❤💖❤💖❤💖❤💖❤💖❤💖❤💖❤💖❤💖❤
maybe the overhead next to the door you could take the doors off and use peel and stick wallpaper
love the house vlogs!! Ready for the office reveal!!
All different glass colors would be very cool!
You could invest in a trash can with legs! It’s still a trash can but an aesthetic trash can 😊
I think different colored glasses would be more fun, and also easier for guests to remember which glass is theirs.
Absolutely love this style of vlog!! My favorite videos and a big reason I subscribed
Prefer topic vlog over any other style video 😊 do the shelves!!!
I love your focused vlogs... Please do these types for all home projects you have.... And yeah do the open self.... But remove the trash can if possible... Add a plant instead of trash can there... See you
I love my All place Pam, bamboo, plates and bowls, I want to get some glasses.
Love this king of video! Keep up the great work! Way to go on the pantry :)
That’s a good idea. My husband actually bought some some of plug in wall mount of Etsy. 🤣
Hi, putting shelves next to fridge bad idea, risque of hitting and hurting yourself is high. But I would explore putting shelves in front of window between cabinet. There is nice inspiration on Pinterest with that concept.
These are my favorite vlogs from you 🥰
Vlog Fam 💕
Put shelf pins or screws in the holes above the shelves that way the back can’t lift up
I like the clogs cause it feels like we're hanging out! I think the shelf would look kid of funny or crammed in that space, but I do agree that the plates and stuff are beautiful and it's a shame they're in the cupboard!

Hi Michel. Just my opinion....I wouldn’t bother with the open shelves. As for the sliding trays lifting the shelf, you can just screw in a stopper at the back of the shelves to stop them from lifting.
So cute! Love all your cookware.
So proud !! You go girl
I enjoyed this one! Our pantry is actually very similar (very deep) so this gave me some great ideas!
Do you have a lower cabinet you can put the trash can in? Then the cute shelves wouldn’t be above the trash?
You go girl, well done!
So enjoyedxthis video. And yes to ladys being handy. We all need to be self sufficient.lovecyour kitchen
I love these type of blogs and would like more
Loved the focused vlog! I think the shelf above the trash would be a bit cluttered and odd. This is random, but I really don’t mind the way you do sponsorships. You love each brand and you are so humble about the sponsorships. As you continue to grow, hold on these values. Love you much!!

I would remove the cabinets above the microwave and put open shelves there!!
Could you put the shelves beside the cupboard on the dining room side or wouldthat not look right
If you could put corner shelving that would look cool and less likely to catch yourself when coming around the corner.
Loved it! Great format.
Soooo random thing I do for my medication! I bought like a cute canister to put on my counter and filled it with my prescription bottles. omg i need to find those sliding drawers because it will help my mom a lot 😂
They need to bring back the lavender pan 😍😍

Get the glassware in various colors. Don’t keep the bowls out.
Loved this style video.
I enjoyed this vlog. Hugs 🤗
Your friend Cindy from a small town in Northern Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦
❤️❤️❤️
Love your vlogs 💜😍😍super proud of you
I finally got to try an Ollipop today (root beer flavor) and loved it! Bonus my daughter loved it too. Now I need to go back to your video and get the code to order a case. :-) Thanks for the great new vlog.
Not sire if it would be too expensive but 2 cute live edge shelves where you said and no brackets more like “floating” would be soooooo nice
Maybe it’s me but I think the bowls would be good kept in a cabinet still. It might feel too cluttered on the countertop when you get more things. I think a floating shelf would be great but I think taking off the cabinet doors would end up looking too messy. Love your vlogs! 🥰

I would do 3 different colors in sets of 4.
I think the shelves would be really cute, is there somewhere else you could move the trash can?
I don't like open shelving for dishware, it makes me anxious about dust, germs, and other stuff settling on my dishware and ultimately getting into my food.
How would you make spaghetti in the pan? I like the idea of just one pan.
If you love OUR PLACE your sure to love CARAWAY brand.
