Wow… I’m rlly getting to respect kyk even more. She’s leading the team through this rebuilding process even after maybe her “prime.” Much support from the states💜
Comparing the status of these two, Brazil is just definitely the better team. Tandara killed it! & Gabi’s defense is just 💯. Korea on the other hand really needed the other OHs working other than KYK (top scorer of the match - 17pts) & their young OPP Jiyun (w/ 13pts). The errors/mistiming is also something to be worked on double-time. Regardless, KOR showed improvements & I was expecting for a worse score gap as they faced a full-blast Brazil team. Hoping for a better performance from KOR at Tokyo. 🇰🇷🇧🇷
If Korea had the twins and KHJ, it would had been an exciting match with unpredictable results.

Korea gak butuh 5 KYK ...korea butuh lee jae yeong...MB yg bagus...MB pemain GS CALTEX anehnya gak ada yg dipanggil ke NT...setter seperti heom hye seon masih dipakai...padahal ada Cho Songwha...Lee go eun...yg secara statistik lebih bagus...MB pemain HI PASS yg sdh senior juga lebih bagus timbang Han song yi...setter pemain hillstate yg jelek banget malah dibawa....lavarini saya lihat tdk bisa memilih pemain yg bagus...dia hanya memanggil pemain yg dia kenal...bahkan libero Hi pass juga lebih bagus,atau Shin gyeong yeong juga mengalami musim yg fantastis di IBK...lavarini terlalu mengandalkan KYK ...disini gue gak mau menyinggung masalah sikembar...tapi saya lihat pemilihan pemain sangat2 tdk qualified...

If KYK was in a team like Brazil or Serbia, she would no doubt be the best volleyball player ever to live. She would get MVPs, Gold medals, and all the awards....Even tho I am a Korean, I still think KYK is underrated because of our national team..
@Dark Knight I think he means that kyk can be used better if she's at the Brazilian or better team because her teammates at korean team can't help her. Volleyball is a group sport so you really can't win if the other team has 6 good players inside the court and you're team has only one good player. Kyk needs a good first ball and a smart setter to maximize his attacks

This is a much better showing than their previous games. If you watch the full matches, there were better passes and attacks being made by Korea. Too bad they are against Turkey and Netherlands next so they can't show too much improvement. But this game feels more cohesive compared to their previous matches. Hoping for more improvements Korea!

@@wicaksanavlog2779 I agree. There’s just so much wasted opportunity in the offense. A lot of the sets are too low or just too near the net. Hitters are just off with their approach with fast sets. The sets for KYK is also a bit low. She can barely even spike the ball hard. It’s sad to see KYK play her last olympics (not sure) with this team. This lineup is just not ready. If this is the team that Korea sent in the asian qualifiers. I think Thailand might have just their first olympic appearance.

Better play from Korea for Brazil needs to put up a fight too. Feel for KYK who seemed so stressed and frustrated. Jeong Jiyun and Lee Dayeon (MB) needs to study plays and get smart FAST.
One can’t help to lament why Japan has 6 Liberos on cpurt but Korea still has players staring at a dropping ball. KOVO and K-leagues need to start giving MVPs for excellent reception (instead of glamorizing the culture of bumping up score points for certain player thus sacrificing team play.) Just compare the accuracy of passing after receives across Asian teams?! 🤕😒😩

what happened with the other setter?
2016 Korea would’ve been a much more challenging foe than current Korea. Lee Hyohee would’ve been a better setter. They also put Jongah in the opposite hitter position when she’s normally an outside hitter and trades places with YK for either outside hitter or the back row. Hwang Yunjoo or Kim Heejin should’ve been in the opposite hitter position. The libero is also not as good as Kim Haeroon was. This lineup is terrible. I also think they need a better coach 🤷🏽♀️ Lee Jongchul was a way better coach than the one they have now.

Now their gunner Kim is retired.. I really don’t know what will happen with team Korea.. if only they have another younger kim on the team.
I think Rosa Maria would have been better than Gabi this match. Korea plays with the same style as Gabi so she was easy defence. Rosa has a higher attach point and would have been more effective maybe.
That being said, Gabi’s defence is brilliant

Guys, the twin from Korean was banned because of bullying, they even blame KYK and said she bully them in the team. they wanted the students who being bully by them to forgive them but what she did was 'talk' to them and point them with a knife. tbh the Korean team may need them but u cant forgive them or give them another chance.

i've been noticing this setter of the korean squad giving less and less to kim yeonkyung. since the first week of vnl. hmmm...
I think because they want to give opportunities for the younger players , since we all know what situation is Korea facing now. They need someone that will help Kim to score. And since Kim's thumb is not fully healed yet so maybe they don't want to push her and injured herself more.
You are probably right. I think it might be that the team and kyk felt that they were too reliant on her… It’s ok tho I trust this rebuilding process.

The block was so noticeably late on that last point in the second set. Hyojin, Eunjin, and Dahyeon might be the MB Olympic picks over the much senior Songyi. And too bad Kim Haeran doesnt have a proper successor in the Libero position, she was a rare gem for Korea.

The game is so close consider korea meeting brazil... if korea found good spiker not to mention kim is not good but if they found a new one with strong spike probably korea will stand again another monster team outside asian territory.
