The first documentary produced by Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited “Taming of the Wild Horse” on the novel engineering techniques adopted by the company at Kudremukh Project.
I can see my grandma (mother’s mother) in this video 10:46. She was a single mother working hard to raise her three kids. Amma used to tell the payment was very low at that time not even enough for food. I cry everytime when I see her here. Love you ajji wherever you are in heavens.❤
It is a pity that such a marvellous achievement in public sector came to such a tragic end. But this project is a testimony of what India can do if it puts it's mind to it. This documentary should be shown in all engineering colleges and in all private & public sector companies as a reminder to what we are capable of. So that we do not sell ourselves cheap.
This project is the reason for fragmentation and habitat lose in the region. An appreciable decision of hon. Supreme court by closing further mining activity in the region and imposing fine of Rs. 139 crores on KIOCL for destroying forests.
With this project, Many people were employed. Experience/diversification in Technoloy. Economy boost to country. But with the cost of healthy environment and ecology. Good that this activity completely stopped otherwise we would have not seen kudremukha by now.
most disastrous projects which karnataka has ever seen, slaying of mother nature. Entire natural habitate which had formed over thousands of years was mass destructed, and very few people who got employed there for few pennies bugs now seem to recall their so called golden memories , What a fate !. A biggggg thanks to all those people who have fought day-night to stop this barbaric project
Has anyone studied impact of urbanisation of Bengaluru City from 2000 A.D. till now (2023) on environment ? If it is properly studied then so called Computer software boom of Bengaluru will be thousand times harmful to nature, earth and environment than these projects.
23 50 chickmagalore u aste bro haku adunnu.der was no tulu in kudremukh its in malnad sphere of influence and kammada speaking casts. If u go a little down ul get tulu.
Its so tragic and for mere profits govt and industrial interests doing all these mindless minings across the world even at the cost of future generation lives. Forever the people of Karnataka don't allow such projects in this fragile ecosystem and rain surplus area.
gone everything is gone 😢😢😢😢 . we are racing towards exhausting all natural resources and destroying nature in the name of development and competition. It took billions of years to form 🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍 but we bastards took 100 years to destroy the very essence and soul earth. eventhough most of the people are not happy and living stressful life. one day we can sleep peacefully in the graves ....
People complaining about habitat destruction: Yes. It did happen, and sorry for what we did....BUT THEN. It's still better than doing tik-tok videos, roaming around mindlessly with go-pros fixed claiming to "discover myself"? The project gave them money at a time when there were no jobs (even now most people don't have one). It's a marvelous feat for science and engineering, something that our country seems to be lacking and all the talk is about cows and religious institutions?? ... ಕಾಯಕವೇ ಕೈಲಾಸ, ಸದಾ ನೆನಪಿರಲಿ!
No....it would have been disastrous for wildlife...I ve seen the ghost town...3 years back...I realise how it would be if it was still a live town till now....thank god someone put their soul to stop that destruction
The attitude of the authorities indirectly show by not planting indigenous plants and trees, we see dirty ecyalyptus trees which ruin health of the soil
