Yeah, PCP belongs to a drug class known as dissociatives. Laughing gas (nitrous), ketamine and dextromethorphan (found in over the counter cough medicine, messes one up far more than codeine) are some other examples. But the dissociative trip is miles different than a psychedelic trip, and you don't really have visuals on dissociatives either you mainly have hallucinations of leaving your body, hallucinations of time traveling, hallucinations of floating, that type of stuff. There are times I've felt supremely confident, like i was basking in the glory of God or had emerged victorious from some unknown challenge. A sense of physical and mental clarity and superiority, which feels hella good even though its false. On the flip side, I've had it induce an overwhelming sense of fear and impending doom, like God has forsaken me and me, or my loved ones are plotting my death. I've felt the presence of the reaper while smoking this shit, and it can by terrifying because unlike most drugs, I wasn't able to separate the delusions from reality. I'm at the age now (mid 30s) where 9/10 I'll pass on it cuz it's just too intense sometimes, but DAMN I used to love me some lovelies bacc in the day lol
