No just the xix platform pistols. The vii model will swap from 44 to 41 or the other way. The 357 is a pistol of its own. That noting swaps to and the 50ae is also unique. When the xix came out they made it where everything worked with either a barrel swap or a bolt and barrel swap. Back when the xix first came out they offered it in a kit with the 6 barrel in 357 44 mag and 50ae as a kit with the frame both bolts and 3 mags. One in each caliber. They also offered it the same way with the 10” barrel and another kit the same way with the 6 and 10” barrels. The largest kit was like 3600 bucks. I wish I had gotten one back the.
Absolutely not true. The 454 casull is bigger diameter than the 44 magnum. I own both. The size difference is very noticeable side by side. The exact measurements of them are 44 magnum is 0430” and the 454 casull is 0452” 0452” is also used in 45 colt, 460 magnum and a few others.
44 mag ammo is cheaper than 50AE ammo, yes. But the Deagle only likes American Eagle 44 ammo and that cost me .90 a round which isn't cheap. 50AE cost me $2 a round, bottom line is you better learn how to load your own ammo. Btw don't think cheap ammo will work with this gun, it only like hot loads unless you want jams
Hi Hazztech, all 6 and 10-inch barrels are interchangeable with the MK XIX, MK VII Desert Eagle frames. The Desert Eagle L5 can only use the 5-inch barrels and the 5-inch barrels can only be used on the L5 frame.
Well that's swell- so I could drop one of the fancy new ported barrels on my XIX? and, unrelated question, but will MR ever consider putting picatinny rails instead of weaver on the top of the desert eagle?
Yes, the 6" ported barrels will work on the DEXIX model. As for the rail on the barrel, at this time they are still being made with weaver style cuts. Considerations for making them picatinny have been brought up and we will forward your comment along.
What ammo are you using. I have both barrels also and my deagle was jamming out the box until I ran 200 rounds of 44 and 50 through it, American Eagle and Magnum Research ammo.
If you can find one 440 corbon is an optional barrel tat fits on the xix platform and uses the same bolt as the 50ae and 44 mag.
I feel like poor Don was forced to do this presentation 🤣
So if you have one chambered in 44 mag you can use a 50AE conversion barrel without any other modifications?
man that gun is bad ass and im willing to bet at the firing range it has the capability of dropping panties
I like the barrel swapping on the deagle, but I really want to see larger magazines. Can I custom order them?
Can you change the caliber/barrl if you're using the .357 version?
Korbin Myrick you just have swap the bolt carrier. then you will be able to swap the barrels.
Can all desert eagle’s 44’s swap this way?.... some one was going to sell me one but I wanted a 50ae ... I didn’t even know 😯.... I love this 💪💯💯
