Racial Trauma and the Mental Health Impacts on Undocumented Communities

The Undocu Student Services, Multicultural Resource Center, and Student Health and Counseling at UCSF welcomed Liliana Campos, M.S. Doctoral Health Interns at UC Davis Counseling and Psychological Services to discuss impact of racial trauma on the mental health of undocumented communities. Drawing from the personal as having been formerly undocumented for most of her life in the U.S., Liliana aims to bring in research and practice to aimed to co-create a safe and shared space as we reflect on the content and process its impact on our health and also create opportunity for motivation, hope, and validation toward our individual and collective healing while being at the intersection of our humanity and our professional pursuits/identity in health careers.
