  • The heart of the season in New Zealand rugby is in the middle of winter, playing traditionals in the mud, cold & rain. This is RUGBY IX shows some of the big 1st XV clashes from the deep south to the north, and some of the biggest schoolboy rugby hits. The haka is a huge part of traditional rugby as schools lay down the challenge for their annual clashes. I'd love to see all colleges and schools in scotland have rugby like they do in new zealand unfortunately football is the number 1 sport and as far as iam concerned rugby is the best if scotland wanna get more competitive we need the youngsters at early age loving and playing rugby like these all blacks do

      No quota system in local school rugby. Coaches can pick teams on merit. This means we may have white wings and full white backline etc. New Zealand Schoolboy Teams actually get to play against our best players. Unfortunately 90% of the sa schoolboy teams will never play provincial or national rugby - so your junior & senior all blacks as well as super rugby teams will never play against these boys. Nothing to feel ashamed about - we have always been the best in rugby. Just quota systems are making our provincial and national teams weak. We lose players from age 12 to 18 and senior level - thousands of our best players. Not allowed to pick our best players in provincial and national levels all age groups. Respect to New Zealand Schools for playing against our quota free schoolboy rugby teams.

    LOL - all your best rugby schools will get smashed by sa schools. LOL.
    South Africa Schoolboy Ranking:
    Number 10 - Boland Landbou
    Number 14 - Monument
    (Interesting local results: Grey Bloem beat Paul Roos 28-26 in Bloemfontein)
    Arguably number 1 & 2 schools in SA 2018.
    New Zealand Schools Ranking 2018:
    1. St Peter’s College
    2. Napier Boys High
    3. Christchurch Boys High
    4. Hamilton Boys High
    (Interesting results in New Zealand: St Peter’s College won the final against Napier Boys High 31-28)
    Napier Boys High beat Christchurch Boys High 32 - 13 in the semifinals of New Zealand.
    World Schools Results 2019:

    There is no denying that SA has the best school rugby in the world - FACT!

    • @WaterboyRugby
      @WaterboyRugby  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, South African schools are impressive, would like to see them play one day. Why don't the players go on to dominate Super Rugby though? They haven't won a title in 10 years.
      Even at under-20 level, the massive schoolboy wins don't transfer. The South African under-20's have won one title compared to New Zealand's six since it started in 2008.
      You produce great athletes that can play one dimensional rugby. They struggle when everyone else catches up in size and power and can't match the skills.

    • @cheapestwebsite148
      @cheapestwebsite148 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Waterboy - hi i thought I already explained that? None of our schoolboys will play super rugby or under 20 junior levels because we have a provincial quota system from ages 12 to 18 and up. This means we are not allowed to play with white players in our provincial and national teams. We lose about 500 of our best under 12’s & 13’s and 16’s and 18’s and under 20’s.
      The white guys you see playing super rugby are the 4th grade guys mixed with the black quota players that stayed behind. I though you guys knew all this already? Lol did you see 2 white wings playing for the junior boks? Did you see the 2 white wings playing for the super rugby teams? Did you see the 2 white senior springbok wings?
      You will never ever see 2 white wings playing super rugby or under 20 national or provincial or springboks senior ever again. You will only see white backline and full white teams when playing against normal school teams - because we have no quota in school teams. This means coaches are allowed to pick the best teams.

    • @cheapestwebsite148
      @cheapestwebsite148 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Waterboy - and that is why your school teams lose against our school teams - because unlike your junior all blacks and senior and super rugby - your school teams actually get to play against our best rugby players. The real springboks just like the old days when we ruled world rugby. But they never play against those boys again at senior level - our best boys all leave the country - no place here if you are white.

    • @cheapestwebsite148
      @cheapestwebsite148 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Waterboy - our top 10 schools will beat the junior under 18 and under 20 springboks by 50 points as well.
      The real springboks are playing school rugby and then they leave the country while aged 18 after school.
      Only useless suck ups stay on along with the quota players etc.
      So all degraded. Our school teams have beaten provincial sides many times as well.
      Your junior all black school team should rather go play our top 10 schools and skip that useless under 18 springbok quota team.
      Go test yourself against the true best players in the country.
