I know that a guitar doesn't make a sound when you don't strum it. I know an arpeggiated chord doesn't sound like a strummed chord. They're faking it. Simple as that.

I'm sure the parts you mentioned where the playing didn't match the track was editors choice to use guitar footage from a different part of the track. Usually because cameraman didn't understand the assignment. You say you've been a musician for over 35 years....did you quit or something? When I say you have to hear them live....go do it. This video was clearly edite for nostalgia feel or something.

It's easy to hate on the singer for sounding so much like Robert Plant... But you know what? Tons of rappers try to sound like Eminem. Tons of folk singers try to sound like Bob Dylan. It's part of music. And just by watching this song. I can tell that they can put on a good show, move a crowd to feeling something, and they're genuinely into their music. So I can't hate on that. Bravo. Great performance!
