- I'm starting to fall in love with Corvus Glaive, and I really love him in combination with Agatha!

Power Estimate: While I think you'll always be better off playing a non-Agatha deck, this did actually feel quite solid. It does just enough unfair things to give you plenty of chances to win, so it might be a suitable deck for missions or chill sessions. It allows you to turn off your brain and go easy mode without sacrificing cubes.

As soon as a saw Corvus was being used with Agatha in some decks, I instantly knew Regis would be making a video on it.

I like to stay in after getting galactused so I can have fun getting alliothed too. It's just the highlight of my gaming experience

Everyone who whines about him being broken needs to see that clip. I run him in a Surfer deck but sometimes I park him behind a Cosmo. There are definitely downsides.

@@Minious1020 Well, mechanically, Agatha plays your cards for you, but lore wise the idea is less that people associated with her are stupid and more that she's super manipulative and controlling of others, both subtly and overtly, so, by having her around, she takes control of the situation (or your deck/gameplay, as the case may be).
I guess, since I think there's been a number of times it turned out Agatha was evil and manipulating people from a meta perspective readers might feel like anyone who trusts her is stupid? But it's not like those characters have read the other comics to know that, so that might be kind of unfair.

It seems the most interesting game always comes first, and this deck's fore-running play was the absolute craziest fun I've seen for a deck in a while.
I swear that Second Dinner must have coded Hela to be 60% or more likely to be hit by a discard. Sif, nearly every time. Corvus, nearly every time.
So the bar with no name retreat, I can sympathize, I try to play cerebro and the tilt is definitely real with locations. But you are a gem, please keep loving the game 😊
I play Magik in all my Cerebro decks. She helps guarantee another card draw for consistency, and she gets rid of problematic locations.

It is so aggravating how they never give any OP cards to Move. They're perfectly fine with giving ridiculous cards to every other archetype, but not the literal hardest archetype in the game to master. Why are they so afraid to do it for Move?
@@JamestheXennial RIGHT ?? Where is the "Knull" of the move archetype ? Why do I always have to hope the opponent doesn't pull out killmonger on turn 5 when I'm trying to buff my human torch while deadpool is living his best life knowing he got absolutely no counter in the game ?

Try this deck man, I rarely lose with it unless I'm unfortunate
Morbius, invisible woman, magik, corvus glaive, Dracula, black cat, iron man, blue marvel, modok, hela, apocalypse, the infinat!
Its so good for locations that draw extra cards, double reveals, double on going, locations that destroys as you can play hela elsewhere to spawn them in, it's got enough balance and power to win most games! Love you man keep up the good content ❤

I'm in love with this deck, gone 61% winrate in the pass 36 games and gained a net 41 cubes, but I've used Spider-Man 2099 and Heimdall instead of Ronan and Odin. Apricate you everyday, thanks for the days I've spent watching you
Its like physics or some mathematical guarantee. If one has Hela, one WILL discard Hela, its written in the universe somewhere.

I've never used Agatha because she is too random but this works better than I thought! HOWEVER I swapped Ronan for Devil Dinosaur. They're the same cost but I had a big hand of high power cards I couldn't usual play and it's more reliable with my own hand being full than the opponents. My only recommendation for this one👍 But I've never played Agatha before now. She even speaks when she gets boosters!😂

I was having the same issue as you right when your turn starts the countdown goes really quick so you end turn but then still have to wait for your opponent

What is it with "Zola" cards in card games creating copies of other cards and being generally a good card?
I swear the timer is much faster when you run Agatha before she gets played.
Yes, and it's intentional. Some players were using her to AFK and wasting their opponents' time, so the devs made her timer much shorter.
One thing to note is that if you get a District X game, your turn timer might be shortened because Agatha is in your deck. Don't think that bug has been fixed yet.
@PenitusVox I noticed something like that when Agatha got shuffled back into the deck and I still had a short timer.
I play Harkness up to gold/plat every season before I switch decks. Glaive has fit perfectly with Harkness. Just a lot of stupid fun.

Regis do you use AI to help blend these cards together at all, or are you just that clean with it? o:
I feel like it'd be harder to coax AI into something coherent.
Thankfully the way Snap's art is layered in the game files so they can do the cool parallax effect also means that it's super easy to grab different elements in a character to mix and match, recolor, or transform them.
So this one, just grab Agatha's head, plop it on a Corvus torso. Recolor to pink and silver, easy stuff.
I try to do some extra touches like making the rim lighting match across bodies, but nothing too crazy usually.
Stuff like the Sand Glaive yesterday was a bit tougher, equalizing values a bit, giving it that golden sand color, then doing a noise filter and some splatter for sand texture.
Then I had to make some custom shapes to do the dark stripes on his green shirt to look like Sandman.

Hardest Gladiator sell ever in the first game lol, and I thought my luck with Gladiator was bad.
Just got corvus in spotlight and decided to try out this deck cause it looked fun.
I went 3-12 before i gave up.
4 retreats because i didnt pull any ramp cards.
Corvus discarded hela 4 out of 7 times.
Didnt pull corvus or pulled him too late for the other games.
Someone cosmo'd my hela.

Nice change IMO making you prep for the leech and play around it while it still doing its job as stopping turn 6 bombs

He's big, if your opponent gets a copy of him he's probably small. With Agatha some of your cards just gotta be piles of stats 🤷

There's actually a 90% chance that you draw one of those 3 cost by T3. That's 9/10 games. But in reality there's gonna be games where you don't draw any of them and there's gonna be games where you're gonna draw all three of them

I think he said a little while back that it's just for ease of seeing which cards are which on screen for viewers so there's no confusion.

I just can’t get behind Corvus he’s a skip for me. Literally has written on him “play me to discard hela” and he isn’t needed in a traditional discard deck. They need to start leaning into the targeted discards rather than random.
This deck is sickening nothing but rng zero skill. Just hit auto generate and people think there top shit when they win
