Lol, the commentary at the start had me scared because I thought I knew what this video was about but then you said all that then I started doubting😂 Anyways I really don't get why people underrate BTS' vocals. I think BTS have worked on their vocals and really improved over the years, most especially Jin and V! Meanwhile Jungkook ALWAYS delivers consistently good vocal performances and Jimin always carried earlier vocal performances even though he joined Big Hit for dancing! (And I think he's sounding even better and more confident now as well.) I think they're just going to get better. Another good thing about their vocal line is their variety. All 4 voices sound different but compliment each other so well. The only two members I had a hard time differentiating were Jin and Jungkook but now their difference is so apparent I wonder why I was having any difficulty xD. Not that variety matters but I think it is a plus. Hearing one voice sing then another voice come in just makes the song so much more tasteful and interesting. (I also love Twice songs because of the variety of voices that sing them, it's just so fun and interesting to listen to!) So people are really misjudging BTS thinking they only rely on auto-tune or lip-syncing (if you see them practising backstage, there's literally no difference). But probably since early-BTS was mainly a hip-hop boy group, so vocals just accompanied the raps in songs, people may think they "can't sing". But I think their vocal line is just as developed as their rap line. There's a lovely balance where the raps and vocals are both of high quality which I don't see in some other kpop groups. Most have good vocals but the raps are... just for the sake of having a rap in the song, which is harsh, but that's how they feel to me. Anyways I love BTS and their vocal line and look forward to all they do.

Literally a music lover do not necessarily need sweet and tendor voice with perfect technicality... A musician should be someone who can deliver his songs with his whole emotions and cinvey it to the listner even without understanding it's lyrics. BTS does that. That's why they are loved by millions. They r not a mere kpop idols who r perfected to be selled out in public. They r artists that was created in the same idol training system but with more attachment to their music and work. All thanks to bangPD.
I mean yes. They Can sing and very well especially when they sing while dancing hard choreography. like many other artists could never. but they are deffinetly not vocal kings/vocal kings of Kpop. For example Jimin tends to strain his voice reaching notes he can’t handle. They could use more professional voice coaching so they don’t harm their voices in the long run. Just my opinion, wether they use lip sync or not. They are not bad in singing but not as good as a singer. They have still crack moments in singing. I still love them tho. A lot of people decided Jimin can't sing around 2016-2017 because his voice cracked a lot in live performances - let me just remind everyone that at the time he regularly starved himself for several days at a time for, as far as we know, a year or more, and this type of diet can potentially destroy someone's vocal abilities for a lifetime because of malnutrition and overworked vocal chords. It's amazing that he sings so beautifully now (and even then he sang really well WHILE DANCING on an empty stomach, and by empty stomach I don't mean hungry I mean starving). Everyone always plays clips of his voice cracking in 2016, 2017 -- like, yeah, I'd like to see you try to actively starve for a year while physically training 8-16 hours a day and hit all those high notes flawlessly
they’re not only popular for their voices lol it’s mainly the messages they send out through their music and concept ideas. i wouldn’t say they’re the best singers in the world but they’re definitely above average and they’ve improved so much since when they debuted and still have more room for improvement. that’s why they practice so much.

Literally a music lover do not necessarily need sweet and tendor voice with perfect technicality... A musician should be someone who can deliver his songs with his whole emotions and cinvey it to the listner even without understanding it's lyrics. BTS does that. That's why they are loved by millions. They r not a mere kpop idols who r perfected to be selled out in public. They r artists that was created in the same idol training system but with more attachment to their music and work. All thanks to bangPD.
And then some of the moments are like their voice broke and that is Soo normal so normal..
I mean yes. They Can sing and very well especially when they sing while dancing hard choreography. like many other artists could never. but they are deffinetly not vocal kings/vocal kings of Kpop. For example Jimin tends to strain his voice reaching notes he can’t handle. They could use more professional voice coaching so they don’t harm their voices in the long run.
And NO I’m not saying that they are bad I’m just saying that sometimes people do tend to overhype their vocals. I would just say their vocals are average. But not bad at all.
Nobody claimed BTS vocal kings. So what's the deal?! They are good in their own way and for those amazing music they make with the best lyricism in the entire kpop Industry, their vocals do pretty job... Nobody is looking for a perfect technically good vocalist to hear a song, if it has emotion then it's fine. So what's this all judgement about. We do not need anyone's validation or permission to enjoy the one of the world's best musicians.

Just my opinion, wether they use lip sync or not. They are not bad in singing but not as good as a singer. They have still crack moments in singing. I still love them tho. And ofcourse, there songs are amazing I mean yeah globally. Kind of catchy. One more thing, what makes them more stunning is that they’re all visuals. You Named idols who has great singing and dancing but not likeable to everyone unfortunately infamous.
BTS is not big just because of their looks or how they sing or how they dance like how others expect out of them in first look... BTS is loved for the delivery of their music that's something no other has delivered before. And it makes it more beautiful since BTS themselves put their emotions in it and ARMY loves them since they are connected to BTS and knows them and how their music describe that. Just like that... They r a kpop group produced by idol system like every other groups but they were not perfected like others and are left with flaws... Yet they try hard to improve. They r more human than being celebrity or an idol. And it's very relatable.

But BTS is loved by a mass audience for a reason right?! So having great vocals is not the key factor, it's about the emotions and efforts they put in through their music. But yes others do the same as well. And visuals is a plus for every grps out there. But it's not something that sells out music, don't u think?! A lot of people decided Jimin can't sing around 2016-2017 because his voice cracked a lot in live performances - let me just remind everyone that at the time he regularly starved himself for several days at a time for, as far as we know, a year or more, and this type of diet can potentially destroy someone's vocal abilities for a lifetime because of malnutrition and overworked vocal chords. It's amazing that he sings so beautifully now (and even then he sang really well WHILE DANCING on an empty stomach, and by empty stomach I don't mean hungry I mean starving). Everyone always plays clips of his voice cracking in 2016, 2017 -- like, yeah, I'd like to see you try to actively starve for a year while physically training 8-16 hours a day and hit all those high notes flawlessly

they’re not only popular for their voices lol it’s mainly the messages they send out through their music and concept ideas. i wouldn’t say they’re the best singers in the world but they’re definitely above average and they’ve improved so much since when they debuted and still have more room for improvement. that’s why they practice so much.
