That's what's crazy about this game. And nobody seems to understand. Coaching matters. Players are great, but if the player doesn't play the scheme properly. You will not win that play. I don't care how good you are of a player. What I mean to say is how disciplined are your players? And that's why kansas city's defense wins when it matters most because they are disciplined, and they have better coaching. But vengio doesn't light a candle too spaggs.. I could go up and down philadelphia's coaching staff, and I don't think there would be many positions that the eagles would win. Maybe the wide receiver coach position. Other than that, kansas city would win on every pick.
Im so tired of hearing the Eagles were at a disadvantage for slipping on the field last time, as if a completely different field magically appeared for the Chiefs.
Complete breakdown of the game dynamic (not Xs and Os): Mahomes is the most consistently great postseason QB since Brady, Eagles have a way better roster. Reid and spags have the coaching advantage but the eagles coordinators are legit, so it’s not a wide gap. Mahomes has been getting favorable calls (like Brady), but the main way the NFL loses money is if people lose faith in the integrity of the games which is happening after the last couple weeks. So no, the NFL won’t rig this game and hasn’t been rigging games for one team. Refs might panic and worry about being the reason a dynasty didn’t threepeat so there’s a real chance the Chiefs get favorable calls. On the flip side, the NFL is terrified of the narrative if that happens so refs might also lean the other way and favor the birds because they don’t want to be the face of a “the NFL is rigged” conspiracy.
Eagles are younger, more talented and really have nothing to lose. Plus beating the Texans and Buffalo who they own is not a test. Philly had to listen to disrespect them all year. All pressure on KC. Eagles by 14
You guys have an amazing platform. Words always matter. Naming KC and “it’s voodoo magic” in the same sentence with “Dre Greenlaw’s injury” is really low. I live in SC. I’m not a life long any team fan. I’m a life long great football fan. Excellence is excellence. And the Chiefs are objectively excellent. It’s really unfair for media types to keep supporting these tin foil hat narratives against any team just because of your exhaustion with their winning. They've beaten every good team in front of them, except for the second Commanders game when they lost their starting quarterback and had D.
