This was the greatest game i have ever seen as a life long sooner fan. I almost gave up on us but my dad told me son i have seen numerous OU/ Nebraska games and it comes down to the end almost everytime. I also remembered what switzer said after the Nebraska game in 84. "Men we couldnt help the defense, terrible field position, couldn't make a first down, and then all of a sudden we make a play." I will miss playing Nebraska. A great rivalry, history and fans. Thanks for all the memories
Been all down hill since then Nebraska. Miss the big 8 and the big 12 of 20 years ago. Its college football though, who knows what the lands will look like in another 20 years!

I was at this game. It was one of the best games I've ever seen. I am such a diehard OU fan,,but man,those Nebrakska fans are sure hard to root against. They are a class act. Can;t count the number of Nebraksa fans that came up and said their congrats and how they were going to miss not playing OU in the future. Many said they hated to lose but glad it was OU they lost to.
I am both a Husker and Sooner fan (more Husker), my entire family is divided like this and I lived in both states. Yet there was a respect and sportsmanship that we could use as an example to our kids. Other rivalries aren't like that, I will be rooting for OK, especially when they play the Longhorns. The Big 12 hurt itself from the start when they separated these teams. My Dad died last year, he was a born Okie and we used to bet a steak dinner on this game every year.

Blame the first Commissioner for his Stupidity/Ignorance for not keeping these two arch rivals from playing every year. All he had to do was make sure that Texas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska played each other every year to keep things fair.
It's hilarious that two years after Texas killed one of the great rivalries of all time that OU/Nebraska fans are still going at it here. Can we have the Big 8 back?

The last game from when the Big 8 was all together...it's poetic that it ended with Oklahoma and Nebraska. Oklahoma and Nebraska ended the Big 8 schedule for decades.

It makes my heart swell up in my chest and tears come to my eyes. THESE are the Nebraska fans that everyone calls classy... We kind of got beat up for those "death threats" and our coach's sideline behavior. It's nice to see Husker and Sooner Nation coming together with class one more time. I actually own an OU lanyard for my keys but I am OBSESSED with the Huskers. It's only because I will Love and respect the Sooners until I die! Can't WAIT to see you in the "game of the century" reunion game.

Boomer Sooner! Great comeback win guys. When we were down 17-0 in the 1st quarter last night, I told my dad OU would come back and win it because they are the better team. we were just playing too conservatively and predictably in the 1st quarter.

One note on the editing of the video - by only showing the great plays by OU and none by Nebraska, you really lose some of the drama of the game. If it weren't for the heads up display with the score, you would think by watching this that OU won by about 50.
