  • How to wire wrap hoop and dangle earrings with ‪@beadalon‬ and @artisticwirebrand
You will need: 22 & 24 gauge artistic wire in copper raw
Artistic brand wood dowel in 9.5 mm
    5 mm faceted stones
8 mm pear or teardrop stones
(Liver of sulfur) patina & polish cloth
    Beading tools- 2 ear wires
22 gauge copper ball head pins
    Directions:
    * Using 24/26 gauge copper wire, depending on the hole size of your stone. Take 3 pear/teardrop stones & wire wrap brilolette style- check out my TH-cam channel or my reels Highlight for wire dropping directions.
*Cut 4 inches of 22 gauge copper wire fold in half around wood dowel. When loop is formed slide briolette wire wrapped stone onto wire form. Form wire around dowel for roundness shape & bring wire together over the center of the dowel. Chris crosswires where they meet. Bend 1 side up straight for a stem.
Then wire wrap the other wire piece with 2 coils at the base of the stem. Cut off excess wire and pinched closed.
This creates a loop/hoop. Add 5 mm stone to the stem & wire wrap closed with a loop at the top. Make 3 of these.
Attach a small piece of chain for length to one dangle.
    * Next form a round circle form again & slide the 3 charms on the wire form. Have the chain one go in the center for extra length.
    * Wire wrap 6-5 mm stones onto copper ball head pins
    * Add 3 to each side of wire hoop form. So 3 on each side of the dangles in the center.
    * Reform hoop as needed around wood dowel. Repeat earlier steps on closing loop with stone on the top.
    * Add to liver of sulfur patina to antique copper metal
    * Polish with polishing cloth
    * Add ear wires & you are finished
Happy Creating 🤩 if you have any questions let me know! TH-cam tutorial will be posted for this later today.

Just wanted to say that as well as loving your amazing skills and gorgeous work, you are a great teacher. Too many of these TH-camrs do great work but their teaching videos are almost painful to slog through. You are quick, easy to understand, super sensible and stick to just the important information. Brava!!!

These are such fun earrings. You’re a great teacher :-) I’m wondering about the blue beads and if you can tell me where I might be able to get them. I’m new to jewelry making. Every time I watch you do something new I fall in love with all the beads and findings! :-) I wish all of them were available in your own shop:) impractical i know.

Thank you so much, these are from a gem show. If I had a bead source I would totally share. I’m sorry I don’t have one.

Those do you buy your yellow brioleets? Those are so pretty . I hope you have them on your site . I also love the blue ones and tiny blue beads.

They are yellow citrine, and I can’t remember where I got them from. Unfortunately, it was probably from a gem fair.

Raw copper will tarnish over time and add a natural patina.

Is Liver of Sulfur safe for all gemstones, glass beads, or pearls?

No. You only can use it on raw metal like sterling, silver, or copper. And it can’t be mixed with some stones.
