The dealership was correct and you did the install correctly. When you install that accessory wire harness it does give you access to 2 accessories you can plug one via molex and hard wire the other, accessory 2 if I recall correctly. That’s how it’s meant to work. Accessory one molex plug may not have enough amps for your fog lamps , that may be why it didn’t work. The different switches can carry different loads, it’s not uniform. If you want all the details look into in the wire diagram online. Lastly, that same harness also provides you access to the CENTER switch on the left side aux switch bank, the wire is kind of hidden in the harness, you have to pull the sleeve up to get to that lead. If you want really slick pluggable install you do have to install the molex plugs yourself 😊

I have these on my Road King Special. Definitely helps if you have a hard time riding at night. Well worth it. I have mine set up on an auxiliary switch.

There's no doubt that the factory lighting on my 20 needs replacing or additional lighting. I like the look of the fog lamps and I'm sure they would help. Thanks for the video. BTW Your poker chip is on it's way!!

Thank u. U can also go to your local Harley dealer and have them program the passing lamps to stay on with the high beam.

Yes, they do sell a harness… Look at the numbers that they give you in the information with the lights. It’s a splitter harness that ties into your wiring behind the fairing… where yours is located, I’m not sure… I have a road king special…

Thanks for sharing. Would love to add some other lights to the front of our RGL. The factory headlights don't seem to be enough for me, at least on low.

Yeah I couldn't see at night with the factory lights.

My 2023 fat bob and other years and models of softails?
The Turn signal switches actually have two switches built in; on the left TS switch, pulling the left side, or pushing the right side of the switch will activate 'accessory lights' and the dash will actually show a light symbol even with nothing connected to the circuit. If your dash responds, the wiring is there. It could be used for almost anything? I'm not sure what the right TS switch is made to control - is it the TC? Note: this easily works with the extended TS switches, the standard switch may need some grinding to actually engage the right side button.
I'm not sure where this wire is physically located, some say under the tank. I didn't check the wiring diagram, I just saw this on a YT a couple of days ago. I don't know what this circuit will support.

How did you bypass the BCM. Body control module. Hope you don't have some problems down the road with the ECM. I have a 2021 Trike and have wanted these lights for awhile. Not going to install them myself. May cause a warrantee issue. JS

What I did is in the video. I just ran my own wires that way they can be on or off separately from the passing lamps.

Could you run the wires under the faring into the High beam wires? so when you turn on the high Beams the fog lights come on? the reason I ask only time I would use the fog lights is when my High beams are on..do you think that would work in my case? the total amps for the 2 fog light is 5amps 2.5 amps each 2020 Ultra..let me know what you think Please!

I dont see why it wouldn't work. Or u can hook them up to your passing lamps and then have your local Harley dealer program your passing lamps to stay on with your high beams. I had my dealer program my bike.
