@CtrlElite That kinda fell flat on its face though when the band ignored a fair few polls when songs they really didn't wanna play came up. Showbiz topped a few and was never played. We just have to accept that Matt's voice can't really do a lot of the old songs justice any more. Although more Dead Star, Space Dementia etc would be amazing, I'm happy that they are rare gems.
@Tebay71 They do both enough to satisfy their fan base. At least in my opinion anyway. Why waste time talking when they could be playing more songs? They play to their strengths, which is their musicianship :)
@PoweredByRenesis His voice is better, I agree, but the simple fact is that he can not or is not willing to hit those outrageously high notes that made the OoS and Showbiz songs so good back in the day. I was at Leeds last year and Micro Cuts sounded good, but nowhere near as good as Wembley in 07 or at Hullabaloo.
@TheWilbz i'm pretty sure that his voice can handle and hit those high notes... but i think he need's to make more effort to hit those notes nowdays and well.. he avoid to make that effort and he compensates that with a more mature and stable voice.
@TheWilbz Not willing to is more correct I think. His range is even better than before, but he's pretty lazy and tends to avoid difficult notes and songs. Micro Cuts at R/L was fairly good, though with lack of diction, it wasn't far from Wembley 07 really. While the Hullabaloo version is superior in its own way, it's not really his technique or range that makes it better, rather the energy he puts into it.
yeah!! I was here! it was awesome, definitely the best day of my life!
2010 had to be one of the best years for Citizen Erased!
@TheWilbz How can't Matt's voice do justice on old songs anymore? If anything, his voice is better than ever.

@TheWilbz They could still change their setlists more.

Why doesn't Muse interact with the crowd or change the setlist? Makes for kind of a boring show.
