Its been twenty years at least since ive been to the A&A. I was no older than ten at the most. Thanks for bringing back some very fond memories, 18 looks as good as the last time i remember!
Excellent video. I was there a few weeks back for the return to steam excursion they had. Love that engine. Rode behind her back when I was 7 years old in 08 on the first run they had when they restored her then. You got some great cinematic shots. 🔥

Nice catches! I was riding this train! I believe I met you in Curriers.
I believe we did. Nice meeting you.
That whistle sounded familiar on the Strasburg Railroad No.#89.
89 has worn this type of whistle before.
@ hi there

@@HAENDELCharles-cm6wr the 18 where's a mcavity/cn 4 chime. So does Strasburg 89
Awesome video!
Thanks!
Great Video!
Thank you!
Locomotive #18 is an amazing steamer I wish I was there
100% 18 is definitely worth seeing!
Welcome back 18!
Indeed!
Im going to catch em this Sunday
👍
It's a pity the regular excursions only go as far as Curriers because it'd really be something to see the 18 crossing Ghost Pond in North Java
It makes sense as to why they only go to Curriers, as all their facilities are there, however I do agree about Ghost Pond!
Any reason why 18 has two different tender trucks?
Im not sure tbh. I think this is 14's tender behind 18 now.
The front one was replaced so the tender was low enough to work with 18
OMG
could use a better whistle as is sounds kinda weak but, DAMN that STACKtalk
It's just the tone of the whistle. 4 Chimes tend to have a mellowed out-solemn tone.
@@TrainChamber 4 chime? damn i don't hear those very often
@@overpoweredsteamproduction513 Neither do I - They're extremely rare nowadays
I absolutely adore the goddess of fire, but her tender pisses me off.
Is it the mismatched tender trucks?
@@TrainChamberYes, both tender truck bolsters and spring rigging are completely different. They’re not matching at all. It’s triggering major OCD.
@@maxm4375 It is for a reason though, the tender currently behind 18 isn't her own
