    Thank you, your demonstration is illuminating, it helps much not to put too much strain on the knees focusing more on the pelvis. Can you please make one to descend? Seems easier but not for everyone!

      I think it's called 'fixing the tracking' in the car world for example.

    About pelvic movement, what is the importance of gluteal contraction on it?
    Thanks for the video.

    • @Lenamo23

      I believe very important as it will propel you forward

      Great question! Generating curiosity and asking questions is at the heart of my teachings. What are the glutes actually? Where do they belong? What do they do? Are Wikipedia or Physio-pedia etc right? Or could we answer these questions much better ourselves?

    Thanks Alfons! Question, would you recommend doing Feldenkrais before or after exercise?

    • @ImprovingAbility
      @ImprovingAbility  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I personally do warm up before running and cycling (as in my video UP8) and in between I do some exercises as well (such as kneel downs and roundhouse squats) and afterwards I do some mobility exercises, also like in the “From the ground up” series… I have feedback from students that they put together their own sequences for before and after sports, which I would recommend. It takes a bit of studying to have a large enough library/experience to chose from, but it’s well worth it, and I think it’s more effective and also more fun than traditional stretching and warmup/cooldown exercises
