  • Hello,
In this video I share the steps that I took when I applied the Monstaliner bed liner on the roof of my 1974 VW Adventurewagen. This is part one of two, I still need to paint the orange portion of the top. The color tint I used was "Man on the Moon", which matches the cream white of the VW quite well. All these products can be purchased through www.monstaline...
    Enjoy!

Me too...I just ordered another gallon kit, along with the orange tint. I'm super happy with this option for the fiberglass top.

@@kekanipahu It looks great and should provide some of Xtra protection to the fiberglass. When I refreshed my poptop in 2014 I sprayed it in a homemade paint booth. Did I miss why you went with a textured roller/finish instead of spraying it on? The two tone creamsicle is one of my favorite paint schemes on a bus...add a high top and poof, extra points. You have an amazing pallet to express your creativity and I look forward to following along :) 😎 STOC

Thank you for the props....I ended up going with the textured/rolled finish because I thought it would be a good solution to the flexing that the fiberglass does in everyday use. I figured the paint (which is non/flexible after it dries) would end up cracking in the long run. I'm hoping this roll on bedliner will flex and not crack. We shall see!

Hi there. It's been almost a year now. How is the bond between the bedliner and the fiberglass holding up? I'm about to bedline a custombuilt teardrop camper with a fiberglass roof and I'm concerned about the primer recommendations vs bare fiberglass under the bedliner.

Sorry about the delayed response! The bond is still excellent a year later. No peeling or cracking. It is parked in the direct sun here in Northern California, with temps reaching triple digits in the summer quite regularly. I'm still extremely happy with this product, it is super high quality and durable. Highly recommend!

@@kekanipahu Excellent news! Good timing, too. I start covering my camper tomorrow morning.
