Ciao Erik! It’s the same concert. Bodanza switches to the Bb trumpet for the last movement’s famous solo using a shallower mouthpiece. He said it was much more confortable with this set up. The courious thing that the Bach C he is playing was a fantastic Early Elkhart 239 25C LB that belongs to the second trumpet, who is playing a Schilke which belonged to Bodanza 😅. He then added a MC1 Malone leadpipe to that Schilke and it became a terrific Horn, that couriously enough I borrowed lately for Bartok Concerto for Orchestra with the Milan Symphony Orchestra, when I was playing principal there.

Grande Pippo, bellissimo video! Che capacita di sostenere le frasi, e che suono sempre meraviglioso.
Schilke vs Bach!! Battle of the great old American trumpets. Lovely playing, bravo!!
But in the last movement switches from Schilke vs Callet battle. I assume these are from different dates?
