Nice looking fly, I tie a similar one but instead of the marabou at the head I use fluo pink SLF Prism mixed with pink and white cdc. And regular grizzly strung marabou as the tail.

What brand of hackle pliers are you using ? Love this pattern , would work in fresh or salt water
Hi Jeff, Thanks. For the past 20 years I have used Tiemco rotary hackle pliers and have yet to find any that are better!
its tied for saltwater mate, they are killers early in the season for seatrout, barry treats us well 👍
I looked them up and there are more then one size. About how long is the handle on yours?
