How could Rockstar Games release a whole new game in four years after releasing GTA SA? It's amazing. A whole new map, whole new cars, whole new animation and engine.

You understand very little about humans , because if you actually catch fire irl you won't think about stopping and rolling on the ground. The only time I've seen footage of someone rolling is about 15s after they caught fire on a road and someone told them to do it. So it wasn't even their idea. When you are literally burning alive its EXTREMLY difficult to even focus on anything except the pain. So I'm calling the ring unrealistic in this game.
2 honorable mentions : during missions npc's react to the way you drive and during missions characters react to what radio you switch to, for example if you switch to the classic rap station with playboy x he will react to that
I need to mention that in GTA IV smoke from damaged car have own inertia and dont "stick" with the car movement like in GTA V. Also after another hit the on hard obstacle your car can stall and there is a chance you can start it. One time I had unique situation when my car dead stalled in the subway and when train pushed the car it actually started!
I haven’t seen one gta 4 details video mention the sound effects of rain hitting your car or hitting plastic trash bags, or even the sound when the train drives by when near metal fences
Even in 2023 gta 4 is still the best gta game and it comes with episodes of liberty city dlc as well hopefully rockstar did the same thing to gta 6 when it comes in 2025
@@orion4829 Yes. I completed the main story of Rdr2. Most of the side quests too. A game with excellent graphics and details. But when it comes to physics (Euphoria), Gta 4, Rdr1 and Max Payne 3 are much better. Rdr2 has better Euphoria physics than Gta 5. That's it. Also, there was a problem with Rdr2. An NPC could report you to the sheriffs for meaningless/weird reasons.

It's important to keep in mind that GTA V was built for the same hardware as this game, and for GTA V to achieve what it wanted to, many of these physics details had to be cut just so the game could run. GTA V's map is over 3 times the size of GTA IV's, with nature and foliage that never even existed in IV. GTA V's story is much more action-packed than 4, with more explosions and mayhem on a larger scale. GTA V also looked leagues better than GTA IV visually. With all of the new stuff GTA V brought to the table, cutting some small details from the previous game is more than forgivable.

One can also do some of this stuff in Saints Row 2. Catch criminals as the Cops - Fuzz Activity Destroy the chopper blades/rotor. Enter more buildings than GTA, the Main Police Station, the Old Church where it all started, the Main Downtown Hospital, clothing stores, liquor stores, tattoo stores, bars, have a lot of safe houses,. Good jump from cars physics/bike crash physics. The cops go after NPCs that attack you if you don’t fight back. Pick up trash, road signs, hydrants, trash bags/barrels, mail/news boxes. One thing SR2 has that GTA doesn’t is grabbing human shields.
GTA IV's NPC Ragdoll physics was something special, along with car physics it was the first thing that made my jaw drop. Although I understand why they turned down the realism a little bit with GTA V. They started to feel too alive instead of random npc's

If a npc is aggressive towards you, call anybody and they will think you are calling the cops and will run away. Someone posted this on reddit, and I couldn't believe that I've been playing this game for years but I didn't know this.
Another honourable mention: In a car if you look right player’s head will turn towards right, looking left will turn his head towards the left side. If you look at the back niko’s focus will be on the rear view mirror.

Helicopter will fall down if you shoot the tail... That happens in GTA V all the time and more realistically because it needs a sniper rifle, that rocket launcher would have probably destroyed the tail. GTA V guns also can close a door, you just need to shoot more. Policemen find cover in GTA IV? Do you expect a policeman wait to get shot? Maybe they do, but it's still makes more sense to shot the attacker before finding cover or doing both at the sam time, because it can cost a live or two. Or maybe the entire police department.

I remember one time I was crossing a street and a car hit me. The driver got out of his car and checked up on me 😭 he did not run, he just looked at Niko while he got up from the accident and after a while, he drove off

You can work for Roman as a Taxi Driver, also you can do vigilante missions in police cars, there's even some side missions in GTA 4 that revolve around that, and yes, you cant do firefighter nor paramedic missions in GTA 4, but you also can't do them in GTA 5.
