Great little vid...esp definitely make some of the best fishing content on TH-cam.no shouting and hollering just pure simple fishing.just how it should be.keep up the good work.
@@jbradshaw4236 i tend to find large low stock waters that have either no controlling clubs, or have sensible rules in place. I don’t catch many but a dinghy is a great piece of kit for learning large expanses of water, that contain very few carp. I very rarely use it to place rigs, it’s far easier to stand on the bank and cast. The reason many clubs don’t allow it, is quite simply they can’t be bothered to pay the insurance extras. And of course, the arguments that would probably create in the modern carp fishing world of busy syndicates and an abundance of anglers around nowadays. But you can still find some gems out there, because luckily 99 percent can’t be arsed with low stock headbangers
Great video, something I’d like to learn is using a boat (on permitting lakes obviously.) It does seem the stupid is strong in some of the comments on here, keep up the great angling lad 👍
Nice video, BUT how many people fish waters where you would e allowed to get a bloody boat out and go poking around all the swims??? Most places are packed to the rafters with all the gear no idea merchants who would kick the crap out of you if you drifted into their swim in a boat poking a prodding stick into the lake bed and lashing buckets of bait in.
another great ESP video but can you please tell me the point of wearing a life jacket in a boat when wearing chesties youre gonna sink like a brick anyway.
No chest waders have been worn in this video whilst out in a boat. Whilst we would not recommend it, it is a bit of a myth that the waders sink you. Quite a lot of tests have been done in controlled swimming pools and they have a fairly neutral effect interestingly even without a life jacket. Safety first though, always where minimum amount of clothing and a life jacket.
@@ESPCarpgear you are right, they have little or no effect whilst in the water, unless they balloon with trapped air making it more difficult to keep head above water, however you won't get back in a boat with full waders, the weight of the water in the waders is surprising and takes effect when you try to lift yourself.
Title is a bit misleading. Fishing from a dinghy is different to baiting up from a dinghy. I was hoping for a full set up hanging off the back 😂. Baiting up from a boat, dinghy or whatever isnt anything new
@@ESPCarpgear how is finding where fish feed from a boat a skill? And before anyone slates me i have been out in lakes and seen evidence of fish feeding. If anyone thinks using a boat is a skill then i think you are either mislead or not all there.
Great video.. very Terry hearnesque!! Just goes to show the advantage of a boat,.shame I don't know anywhere that allows the use of one.
Nice video as always Jack, ignore the usual bunch of negative rubbish. If you don’t want to do it, don’t do it! cheers
Nice video, always enjoyable. Shame there's not many places like the estate lake available nowadays where its you against the fish. Be lucky 🎣

Much better than those Korda muppets, can’t tell if they’re fishing or at a World Cup final
Pure simple fishing? Are you for real?
Thanks Andy!

Nice one Jack.

What tc rod is that broomstick, 9? 🥱
Great edge, been doing this for years. But there’s not many fisheries allow it.
As they shouldn't
@@FixDylann didn’t say they should or shouldn’t, just stating a fact

Wonder which reels he prefers...The Tourneys or the Onyx?
Bit of both. The Onyx Compacts cast much further.

Have ESP now Brought out a dinghy range and this is a promotional video to attract more potential buyers?
No plans to do dinghys :)
I would be kicked off my syndicate for going out in the boat for just a look
So dumb because fish dont give a fuck about boats especially a tiny one
Yes, you want to be within the rules.
Nuances...
When are the lo pro brollys being reintroduced??
This spring :)
i take it esp are selling these dinghys, hence the full video about them

Rods being fished from the dinghy too. Not sure how comfortable a night would be on a tiny dinghy with a puncture haha!
Using a boat to find spots and to bait up is not a skill, anyone doing this is not the angler they make out to be.
Disagree, its a whole new skill set and used a lot.
