No cap what have you put this controller through. I've had mine since launch and it doesn't look like this it almost looks new. your controller looks like it went through a war. Interesting stuff.
I often play 2+ hours a day so that probably why. The first dualsense edge I had for like 3 months and it looked practically new until it bricked itself. The grips on the controller in the video started wearing off within the first few months though
I’ve had mine since launch as well with embarrassingly enough like 2k+ hours put into it and my controller does not look like that lol. Grip is coming up but idk how he got his looking like that
@MultiChrisjohnson it may be a quality control issue. The first dualsense edge I had looked basically new until it bricked itself. I had it for 3-5 months and even the grips didn’t come loose. With this controller, the grips started to come loose within the first 2 months of me having the controller. Like I said in the video I had the tear the left side off since it had almost come off all the way. Other then that everything else is normal wear and tear from me
I’ve dropped the one I have a bunch of times and it still works fine but the first one I had must have had a quality control issue or something since it died after a pretty light bump
Yes you can remap pretty much every button and the back buttons can be remapped to any of the other buttons wither using a ps5 or the ps accessories app on pc
Hey bro have a question, the controler looks pretty bad, do you play daily and how long do you play? And do you always use an edge controller? Thanks for letting me know
Yes I only use the dualsense edge when I’m using my PlayStation and on average I put in 2-4 hours a day of gaming on my PlayStation. I’ve used the controller for around 3-4K hours now. Some days I don’t play games but usually I play daily
Another Input, my experience is amazing and I love the controller, had since around November last year. Yellowing does occur on the back due to sweat etc but extreme rate have great replacements. I really recommend tbh, but that’s my experience. I play everyday for minimum 2 hours.
This is normal wear after over a year of use. The left side grip looks bad because I had to tear it off since it was almost all the way off. The right grip hasn’t been touched and has naturally come off that way. Idk about you but I have big meaty hands so my controller will probably look a little worse than someone with smaller hands I guess
I also forgot to mention that too. Even though my hands are pretty big, my hands feel strained after playing for a while where as the ps4 controller never made my hands uncomfortable
No way that’s just 7 months of wear and tear. Not to mention this guys controller has boogers on it. Disgusting. If your going to post a review videos at least make sure your controller doesn’t look like you got it from a dumpster.
That wasn't a booger my guy it was sweat build up idk about you but I don't constantly clean my gaming peripherals. Usually though if it gets bad I wipe it off like I did in the video
This controller is garbage the grips are peeling and bubbling off stick drift still happens instead of it being $20 for the replacements it is now anywhere from 40 up Sony doesn't make Enough of the replacement modules for everyone I guess and bots by them up Having issues with the R2 button also and the X button they stick dooring gaming Don't waste your money
I agree people are complaining that I must have severely abused my controller, but I've never slammed it or purposely tried to take the grips off except for when the left side just peeled off too much and it got distracting. You would have to super baby the controller to keep it in good condition. It also sucks as Xbox has hundreds of really good budget controllers that have hall effect sticks, but if you want something other than a normal dualsense controller for a ps5, you can either buy the super over priced nacon controller, or the crappy dualsense edge.
@@runnerman15 Everything you described in the video was accurate it's happening to my controller I already sent my controller in for the controller grips that were pealing and bubbling now the trigger button is sticking and the right thumb stick is acting weird as described in video 🤦♂️
I have elite 2 for xbox and i agree its cheaper but quality is suck too, rb button problem stick drift, and grip gums broke like this on your dualsense edge, im really dissapointed cause my xsx controller works good 3 years, elite2 gives me problems, 2 times on service now i have rb problem again 😒 this is ridicolous.

@@MultiChrisjohnsonhe doesnt look after his stuff for sure
This is the first long term review where the controller actually looked like its been used. Love it
It's nice to see a long time use report like this, compared to everyone else who's reviewing it brand new.
Looks like your dog been playing with it , the dirt at the start had me out , at least it’s still working 🙏🏽
14:25 yes we can tell
Thanks I’ve been wanting for a update of the controller currently
Ive had mine for since it came out and i dropped it very had a couple times and it still works all the time nothing is wrong with it

Are you able to program R3 to a back button

Even though the battery is straight ass! i need this for upcoming Black ops6. 😂
This video is cap lol controllers do not look that way unless you abuse it.

I’m sorry I don’t dip my controller in Hydrochloric acid every night to clean it
😮😮😮
it's worth it because PlayStation 5 controllers are the best console controller ever
Drifting in to see this comment
Debatable
Ps4 controller way easier to Hold.
