Making a Lithophane Add-on for Nintendo Switch Dock

  • In this video I go over how I created a backlit Lithophane light box that is an addon component to your Nintendo switch dock. The dock is powered off of any 5V source but is intended to plug directly into your Nintendo switch dock. The dock is controlled by a remote control that comes with the LED light strips. Also you can 3D print your own Lithophane designs to insert into the front cover.

    The led lights you put in the description are unavailable, is there any other kind you’d recommend?

      Sorry about that! I looked around for another strip with similar size and spacing. The closest one I could find was a black PCB and it's IP65 meaning you'll have to peel the glue off if you want to solder or connect them together. Most LED light strips will work if you want to find another source, just try and get smaller spacing if possible for best fill in your picture frame.
