Anyone else think the cameo with Carrie Underwood was completely unnecessary and unfitting? It was kinda cringe tbh so I made this because I’m pretty sure a lot of us were expecting them to use this song.

Very true! I never expected him to win but he did a great job. Making it to the semi-finals on his first run. Season 2 Demetry when he started was weak and Robby was already a finalist. Robby's been at it way longer than Demetry so yes it's amazing and even when he lost he got up pretty easily.
Demetri deserves respect for sure. I also noticed that Robby is generally pretty vicious in a fight, but he didn't use any more or less force than necessary to put Demetri down. A nice call out to their earlier friendship in Miyagi-Do.

I have a feeling that Season 6 will be perfect as Anthony's All Valley Tournament debut. I am waiting for him to wear the Miyagi-Do gi and the headband that Daniel wore in his first tournament. It's going to be the perfect ending for Season 6 that Anthony and Kenny will face each other in the finals. Anthony is the perfect student for Chozen. It is the perfect closing for Cobra Kai TV series that the new Daniel and Mr. Miyagi is Anthony and Chozen.
Honestly, I can't ever see myself rooting for Anthony. That kid is a shithead. I'd be okay with Kenny breaking his foot off in Anthony's mouth and leaving it there.

yeah that was my only issue with the season finale, like seriously IT WAS RIGHT THERE! i know they didn't use that song in the first season because they were looking their footing and to not overrelyng on nostalgia. But now that they already stablish every single class in the tournament, they could have use it right here!
Silver made sure that the students helped him if he misunderstood anything because you can't just hit a balloon dummy all day long( when he beats up Anthony you see it in kennys training flashback) and you can't hide behind Robby when Kreese wants you training.. Each time Kenny does good silver kreese and Robby are impressed
I'm in two minds about this. Although Carrie Underwood's cameo was a bit odd, Moment of Truth is my favourite song from the first Karate Kid, whereas I've never been that into You're the Best.

This should have played in season 4 missed opportunity, Carrie was very meh. The tournament deserved and 80s song. Tory and Robby were beasts in this tournament destroying the competition.
