Can the hand DA you used for sanding be used for polishing?

Hi there! Thanks for your question!
Please note that the Random Orbital Polishing Tool (as used in this video) can also be used for polishing. You would just need to make sure to swap out the pad and material for polishing. See the next episode in this video series where we cover off on the polishing step: s.3m.com/gcels2ay

Do you have a link to the video with how to choose between a wool or foam pad? I cant find it.

Hi there! We don't have a specific video on this topic, although in this video, Jason briefly explains how to choose between a wool and foam compounding pad in the beginning. We appreciate the feedback and will consider making a video dedicated to this topic in the future!

Orbital sander recommend 5mm or 2.5mm please answer

Hi Rizwan -- We recommend a 5mm throw for sanding for prep. When using our Random Orbital Polisher as shown in this video, the two throws available are 15mm and 21mm.

Why did you use a respirator for compounding ?

Good question! A respiratory mask is used to protect individuals from inhaling potentially harmful particles. It helps prevent respiratory exposure to dust, chemicals, or other airborne contaminants that may be present during the compounding process, ensuring a safer working environment.
