3D embossing folders are such an amazing tool to have in our arsenal. It was nice to watch you learning as you went. It was brave of you too put yourself out there like that. I definitely appreciated it and got some valuable ideas for how to proceed in my watercolor marker adventures. Very nice job!
I am loving this. I like the idea of using the blue for sky before doing the flower. I think that I can do this. I have these pens, but just need to try them out.
I love Altenew's amazing 3D embossing folders and I love Altenew's Watercolor Brush Markers but I never thought of using them together. I'm definitely going to be trying this soon. Your card is beautiful and this technique is genius.

This is stunning! Truly! I am a bit confused about the tools you used. The brushes with the color-- did you pick up the color from the paper and mat? Or is the color in those brushes? I need them either way! I also love how your background came out! You added watercolor on to your embossing folder, right? Does it clean up easily? I am just in love with this image!❤
Thank you so much! The watercolor brush markers are Altenew, and they have dye ink in the barrel. You squeeze it to make ink come out. I’m still practicing control, so I am careful to squeeze it onto a scratch piece of paper first. I inked the folder with crisp dye ink first. It cleans up with water and a lint-free towel.

Love 3D folders! You added a lot of water. Did you have issues with warping after it was dry?
Not at all. The Bristol Strathmore Smooth is great mixed media cardstock.
