This model was the most luxurious offering from Dodge at this time. My father's friend had this exact car except the color was a dark brown with the wood faux paneling. You just never see these anymore period, let alone in this mint condition. Great find.
Absolutely beautiful car! This era of MOPAR was so underappreciated! Mopar made a huge mistake by not downsizing their cars quickly enough and decided to go full speed ahead with their original plans before the oil embargo hit back in 1973 I believe it was! My dad had a 1971 Plymouth Gran Fury 360ci V8. Very similar to this. It was such a nice looking and driving car! I remember being angry with him when he traded it in. I wish he still had it!
That sound! The starters on these vintage Chrysler Corporation cars always sounded like a 🤧 sneeze. Love that sound...I miss it. Beautiful station wagon. Stunning car.
We had this exact car from 1975 to 1984 (ages 9 to 18). I drove it in occasion in high school. This car is inseparable from my memories of Mom, who is still around at age 86. I’d give anything to have Mom drive all the kids around the block in it. I’d sit in the “way back” with my younger brother and sister, of course. Older siblings in the middle seat.
My dad had one of those. 400 cubic inch engine, and if you mashed the pedal all the way to the floor, it could actually keep up with slow moving traffic.
Beautiful. Absolutely rare. I owned the Chrysler version of this car in the late 1970s. Honestly it only got 3 miles per gallon. They were all sent to the crusher.
My family had a green Polara looked very similar. Dad would do a pretty good one wheel peel if us kids persisted... They don't make em like they used to.
Uncommon when new (maybe 3,500 made) - how many could possibly be left? Loaded too; I love these big luxury wagons - you knew the family that owned one had some money, how else would the spend this much on a wagon. The T&C folks - they probably actually did have a horse boarded somewhere :)

They didn't have the money.
As I remember Dodge made a roomy comfortable car that was under appreciated. Rare beauty there
Royal Monaco grill was so beautiful

This is one wagon that I haven't seen since I was at least 11 or 12!
This was built during a time when Chrysler and Dodge built some beautiful cars.
