    FILM DESCRIPTION:
This summer, experience the epic conclusion to the Jurassic era as two generations unite for the first time. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are joined by Oscar®-winner Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill in Jurassic World Dominion, a bold, timely and breathtaking new adventure that spans the globe. From Jurassic World architect and director Colin Trevorrow, Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live--and hunt--alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history's most fearsome creatures.

the most unrealistic thing about this scene is how easily owen recovered from being dunked into freezing water and how he ran normally afterwards. Freezing water and hypothermia is absolutely no joke, not to mention the guy didnt even have a coat on to begin with. Stupidest scene in the movie. The ridiculous Birdosaur theory is pseudoscience and fiction portrayed as fact.
What this theory lacks is any and all observable evidence of incremental transition. Decomposed tissue giving the appearance of feathers in a few fossils is not proof of birdosaurs. Feathered animals discovered in fossils is not proof of evolutionary theory either, as the creation account places these creatures existing at the same time. Again, no transition is, or has, been established between dinosaurs and birds... except in Hollywood, and fictitious artistic renderings. It is a preposterous theory, and science isn’t a democracy, a consensus vote means nothing. What matters is demonstrable evidence of incremental transition, and no such evidence exists for this theory. It is entirely speculative, and all because featherlike appearances in very few small animal fossils are seen. Radiometric dating for these fossils is based entirely on assumptions as well. In fact, everything about evolutionary theory is based on assumptions and guesses, not facts. It isn’t science.

Nope! It jumped in on its own! And then it SWAM AWAY FROM ITS AIR HOLE. If Party hadn’t fallen through and created a break in the ice, it would have just drowned. Even it had gotten out, it would have been too hypothermic to even run in about two minutes.

"Well, maybe dinosaurs have more in common with present-day birds than they do with reptiles. Look at the pubic bone: turned backward, just like a bird. Look at the vertebrae: full of airsacs and hollows, just like a bird. And even the word 'raptor' means "bird of prey."

@@itsok2bwhiteendanti-whiteh548 There’s no longer really any doubt that birds are a type of dinosaur. These days, the debate is about details. The strong evidence doesn’t just come from fossilised bones and similarities found across the skeleton, but from fossilised soft tissue - especially feathers. Many dinosaurs had not just some kind of body covering, but distinctive bird-like feathers. Rare fossils also give us glimpses of the behaviour of bird-like dinosaurs, such as Mei long, a small, duck-sized bipedal dinosaur from the Cretaceous era. It was found preserved in volcanic ash falls - a bit like Pompeii - captured curled up in a sleeping position very similar to how a lot of birds roost today.

For those who don't Know why the pyroraptor was diving to the water instead of trying to directly catch is because obviously it knew that it would slip so it dives faster in water so it decided to break the glass in order to put Owen and Kayla to the water so it would be easier to catch and the pyroraptor can hunt them quicker in the water just imagine the slippery ice and if it wasn't a slippery ice it would directly attack instead of diving underwater for no reason it wouldn't make sense so now you guys get it , it didn't dive for no reason it dived to get them easierly
So let me explain it better you see when it was about to go and hunt them at 0:18 the glass broke down because it was not that strong so at 0:27 it realised it couldn't run to catch or the ice might break so that's the reason it decided to dive instead and you can see at 0:33 it started to cut down the glass so they would fall inside so it's easier for the ice raptor so the ice raptor didn't mean to actually go in water for no reason it did it to hunt them down easier

Owen being relatively fine after the dip in the water isn't as bad as people make it out to be. However my problem comes from his resistance to the cold in the first place. I've lived my entire life in a very cold country. I'm very used to it for that reason. I've been outside multiple times without jackets, wearing shorts, etc. and it is a tradition here to go swimming in frozen water compeletly nude. However, Owen has clearly not. He has been in warmer climates before. So him not wearing a jacket in the cold and not being cold even after the dunk is unrealistic to me.

    • @xenomorph-2017
      @xenomorph-2017 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @@day539 ok, nice, counterpoint:
1: Kingfishers and penguins have evolved to swim well because their diet is aquatic and they need to regularly hop into the water. Pyroraptor was most likely a land based predator. It probably didn't evolve for advanced swimming.
2: Pyroraptor lived in what is now France, which was nowhere near cold enough to produce icy winters during that time.
If this film had a smidge of realism, the pyroraptor wouldn't even jump in the water at all, it'd just go straight for the humans.

Man Pyroraptor was an instant favorite for me, it’s a shame this was his only bit. Maybe Dominion would have more time to show off these awesome new dinosaurs if they hadn’t tried to tie a billion storylines into one, or tried to fit in this locust bull crap in the plot when it was clearly not necessary. This movie also struggles from losing all sense of realism, Clair (if that’s how you spell her name lol) is now outrunning raptors on foot, Owen can outrun them using a dirt bike yet reach the speed of a moving plane?? Another example in this scene, home girl over here lifting a dude twice her weight out of the water in that amount of time? The whole Biosyn lab easily fooled by a teenage girl?? They spent so much time and money focusing on crap that only made the movie worse. If they just cut the Biosyn crap and focused more on dinosaurs among us, not a million other things, just that, maybe this movie would have actually been some what successful. 2. Blue needed to show up more in this movie but Beta was ok and I’m fine with that
    3. No Spinosaurus but I ok with that
    4. and Finally Kayla Watts because there’s just something so unlikeable about her, I didn’t like when she did that 1:38 to the poor Pyroraptor I mean why did she have the urge to do that? They were perfect fine in that elevator plus the Pyroraptor was only hungry or just defending its territory and the face she makes after tasering it made her even more unlikeable.

Finally, Kayla states that she was not afraid of him at all. Treating him with a taser only confirms that the piroraptor surprised her and terrified her😉.
I think there should be more piroraptors. Why did Biosyn create only one pyro when raptors are gregarious?

Most dinosaurs could swim, most animals can. Why shouldn't it be able to?
There are many birds who swim completely underwater just like this, herons and cormorants in particular.
