Not all the Geuzen were Calvinist. It was primarily an anti Spanish movement, a Dutch movement to be exact. There were a lot of Catholic Geuzen fractions who also fought the Spanish.
Description isn't entirely right, it was indeed sung by the Dutch SS, but it was first sung at around 1600A.D. when fighting the Spanish. The recording of it however, was done by the Nazi party of the Dutch.
I had two uncle's one in the Dutch ss and one in the resistance both died in the war the ss one went missing (probably died in a gullag) during the russian campaign the other was executed on 19th of november 1942 as one of the 33 of Soesterberg. Thats how divided the dutch people were the resistance fighter was mourned, and the one on the Russian front not. Both died young 26 and 24. Both would loved that song i guess.

They didn't answer to anyone, there was no governing body to oversee and coordinate what they were doing. Yet, they were so organised amongst themselves that they were able to win a lot of battles and free a lot of towns, thus earning an important place in Dutch history. I don't think comparing these people to the German SS (in the description of the video) is correct.
