When I pulled her in Heroes, she struck me as having a lot more to her character than her few lines of dialogue would let on. If this ever gets a Shadows of Valentia sort of remake, I would love to see her get fleshed out much more

It's when she's a friend's lead unit and visits your barracks that she uses the term "princess", she could be using it so her summoner could get more credits, as she is not selfish or imbued of herself.

Damn, man. My main takeaway from this isn't about Miranda, but about dialogue as a whole -- the power of specific wording can grant so much more depth than meets the eye. With the right words, even a character with little to say can have a lot said about them, and the devil in the details can grant a lot of depth to what would otherwise border on being a background character.
LectroNyx main thing to take away, is that supports shouldn’t be the only way to give characters dept. there should be story expositions and background for at least majority of the cast

This video... I happened to put it on in the background while I was doing something tedious and it managed to capture my attention so raptly that the time flew by in an instant and it was over. Part story and character analysis, part re-telling with remarkable quality voice-acting, on the games that I love so dearly; I yearn for thoughtful and reverent content like this. choops you did it again
As someone who has not played most of the older Fire emblem games I still find this video to be very impressive and makes me even more interested in them, good job man
People tend to undermine the writing of Judgral games just because they don't have supports and shiz. What they achieve with what little dialogue and resources they have is so damn impressive and sums up why I love these games. (of course I never use miranda because a-route ftw)
Facts. Obiously the support mechanic is good in that it allows the characters to get more dialogue and interactions but if characters don’t have story expositions and have barely any involvement in the story then that character won’t feel as nearly as impactful. All of the kaga games do a really good job at this, with the peak being in tear ring saga

As someone that only experienced the B route a few months ago I was blown away by how well Miranda was written. She quickly became one of my favorites despite being a chore to use.(Rip Silver card you were worth the exp)
Subtext is freaking amazing and Thracia does it so well. it reminds me of the script for Final Fantasy 6 or the Dune series by Frank Herbert. Love this stuff
This was a great video. I loved fe4 and fe5 for their very detailed lore and story; the fact that you were able to get a lot out of a character from a few lines of dialogue is pretty cool. Can't wait for your next video.

A lot of characters with only a few lines tend to stand out, mainly because their character isn't bogged down by repeating their tropes repeatedly. This was a fantastic video Chaz, I would definitely not mind you dipping your toes in videos about story and narrative more.
If I had agency over a Thracia 776 remake I would make Leif's Ending Dialogue with Miranda be changed if Nanna is dead, with him putting less of a focus on the remaining responsibility and more on his hesitance to step into a relationship that committal/important, as to hint at an inability to move on.
Nothing I love more than a good scripted character analysis, this does an awesome job at bringing attention to how well built the world of the Jugdral games are. Miranda content is always good content
