- 'The Man in the High Castle,' an Amazon original series, is making headlines for its latest advertisement. In the ad promoting the second season of the show, the Statue of Liberty is seen giving the Nazi salute, historically signifying praise to Adolf Hitler. The program depicts what could have happened if an alternate ending was the result of World War II. After protests last year, the MTA pulled Amazon's similar ads from subways. The show is available on Amazon Prime. #InsideEdition
The ad worked perfectly. The shock value and subsequent news coverage just spread it around for free.

I think you underestimate how retarded people get offended by anything
Entertainment, and also it doesn't hurt to see a different perpective so that we all can learn "What if". Of course when utilized in a work of fiction movie/film set.

The whole point of the ad is to shock people.
There's a reason for that billboard, it's because the show is about what America could've looked like if the Axis forces had won WWII.
We're deep in the Weimar so now we get to experience what it's like since they stomped out the gentile uprising of ww2.
This ad is a master piece
I read that as master race

Not for the millions that lost their million loved ones
I agree. 💯

Fr I can’t believe they stopped at the 4th season, I wanted more episodes to continue the show
One of the most underrated shows
The first seasons were great, then they rushed it for no reason

Why is this a big deal?
because the gesture is extremely anti-Semitic, and I would imagine if you were a jewish person or someone whose people were otherwise affiliated with the holocaust, you would not appreciate seeing something like that in your every day life.
Anti semetic? Its anti human lol
Heathen of Fire True, I don't have a issue with it cause they're advertising and showing us what could've happened, but the timing is terrible man lol
EagleZtoTheGrave yeah I got that but I don't think they should be berated for it
Not really.
I like how the Statue of Liberty 🗽 making the Roman Salute 😆😂🤣💀☠️

The Bellamy Salute actually.

Honestly, Amazon definitely expected for this to happen, just being a random billboard wouldn’t do anything, so they let Americans be Americans

Ok, that ad actually makes sense considering what they're advertising
Usually, I think people get too sensitive nowadays, but that seems perfectly controversial
I don’t know who thought it would be a good idea to have the Statue of Liberty doing that on a billboard, even if it is to promote a show. I’m not saying the show is bad I’m just saying, they should’ve thought about this a bit better with how they made it.
LOL. What a brilliant ad campaign, it did precisely what it was supposed to do!
