That is a huge house for The Villages, and a good floor plan.
That blue exterior color is brutal though.
I love that blue color! Coastal colors like that are very popular in FL.

Congratulations on your beautiful home! Ray and Ashley made some beautiful choices. I love that bathroom that they added on that leads to the lanai - so smart! The glass in the front door is beautiful and those cabinets in the laundry room - also a great use of space. I would store paint cans, miscl decorations, serving ware, etc. in those. The counter tops are gorgeous! And that pool is wonderful. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
The house is one big room , dance hall.. easy to build .

It has been fun seeing the progression from beginning to end. Loved the large garage. It is so much easier and generally cheaper to add what you want when you build rather that adding or upgrading after the house is built.

A really Nice new home, 4 car garage, with Pool and Bird Cage. I especially like the Bathroom off the rear patio. Huge Bedrooms, and a Gas Range.

Wow! What a beautiful home, appreciate you letting us in. My wife Betty and I will be coming down this summer to begin our search for our new home. My brother-in-law just bought one this week. It would be great after you settle in, to see/hear about what other upgrades you have planned or wish to do. I know you have plantation shutters on the way (such a great look). Considering crown molding/casements? Custom cabinets in closets? Epoxy in the garage, driveway paint? It has to be an exciting time for you. Congratulations and thanks for allowing Rusty to help document your journey with us.

Beautiful house! I can't believe Rusty said that he wouldn't know what to put in those cabinets in the laundry room. 😅 I would use it as a pantry and for kitchen gadgets, which I have a lot of and no place for. I do love all the storage. And I like that you have the cabinets on the front of the island which I have in mine too. Great pool area.

Still a little surprising to me that a "premier" home still has plain old wire rack closet "organization". I know it's an option and you can always have it done later, but...
We didn’t upgrade the closets at the time of the build because we were not sure what we wanted. It’s easy enough to upgrade later once we know what we need.
Exactly. It’s interesting to see a that million dollar Premier home still has the same cheap finishes in it that a standard designer home does. Wire shelving, cheap appliances, no crown molding….etc.

I like the video you and Ray did on the pricing of their House and upgrades. Very very Helpful and informing. I'm a planner and want to know what things cost.
Your videos have been the most informing on the villages. Checking if Ray would be willing to do after they have been in their new house a few months, a monthly cost to live in a house that size with a pool. Like you did on the cost of the house he built, one of the best videos for me. I want to know the cost to plan. We are about 2.5 to 3 years away to moving from the midwest to that area. Thanks again for your videos.
Good job Rusty. Nice house Ray, I'm hoping to build potentially a Warbler next year, I don't think I can swing up into a Sanibel, but certainly would love to. Some of these model's kitchen counter space drive me nuts, gotta have a lot of counter space!
Love the house Ashley and Ray! The extra storage in the utility room is awesome! I noticed they put the soap dish above the corner seat. I don't understand why TV does that. People if they needed to sit would hit there head. Total epic fail to me on all houses. Enjoy the house and the pool party. Fabulous for you guys! Thanks Rusty for the video.

Quite a house! Can’t wait to see it when they get it decorated. I was a bit surprised they didn’t have the master bedroom closet customized like the laundry room. I wish you would have shown the yard leading to the back to show how close neighbors will be building around them and how much privacy they’ll have or if they plan landscaping for privacy.
We will be doing some type of closet organizer but are not sure what we want yet. Wanted to get moved in first and then evaluate what we need.
WOW! 😮 That’s is a very blue house. I suppose if you live in the Villages, you want to give people an easy way to find you. Look for the radiant, electric blue, glowing, do not stare directly at it, structure. That’s our house. 💙
I didn't want to be rude, but I did not care for the outside blue on the house. I also didn't like the wire shelving in the big closets, if you're doing all the upgrades why not put in nice wood shelves and custom closet space. Sorry, just my opinion.
I’m really shocked that the Villages allowed that color. Or did they? Sorry but it looks out of place among the surrounding houses.
This series of videos on the progress of their new house were very helpful in our planning and estimating for our hopeful purchase of a new home in the Eastport area. I think it would be great if you could follow up with them when they make their Landscaping upgrades. I would be interested in the costs associated with those upgrades when Ray and Ashley figure out what they are going to do WRT the landscape.

House came out beautiful, live the 4 car garage, I have a 5 car garage in my home in Massachusetts. Will definitely need at least a 3 car in my future home. Home much did they sell their other house for?
Great video! We are just wondering what the view will be of in the pool area. Another home’s birdcage? How close will the neighbor’s home be to their pool?
Love the house and the location. My question is due to the larger house and garage. What is the electric panel amperage? The houses that I've seen are 200 A. Do you know if it can be upgraded to 300 A? Thank you for sharing your time to help inform potential new buyers!

Great set of videos. Thank you. Quick question, is there a smaller option for the bathroom room off the pool, without a shower and bedroom access? We like that floor plan and hoping to do something similar over by Eastport if they offer it.
As far as we know this was the only pool bath option.

Total area under air is 3400. Garage is 1100, Lanai is 733 and birdcage around the pool is 1800. Hope this helps.

Premier homes have 12 foot ceilings throughout and 10 foot doors, right?

Ashley’s PhD is in Organic Chemistry. As for decorating, we are not good at that. We may need outside help. LOL.
Very much enjoyed watching your process, also grateful for pricing openness. Is there a way to find out who owns the property around the enclave and what it is zoned for? I’m unfamiliar with how to gather this information but from what I could find some of the property is marked unknown(?). Thank you
The property to the north south and west is all owned by Leesburg Parks. The property to the east is privately owned.

Just curious i noticed most if not all the walls have a texure to them was that added by Ray and Ashley or is that standard with a homes built in the villages?.
My understanding is that the textured walls are standard.

They have lots of pools but they close them at sunset. We wanted to swim whenever we wanted. Love the picture of your “Z” car.
How much would this home cost to build now?
Our final price was $1,076,635. We will be a bit over $1.1m after we do some landscaping etc.
It’s a lovely house, but the pot lights in the tray ceiling really destroy the look. Would not be my choice, but they like it and it’s their house. I would have liked to hear from Ashley. I agree, way too much house. These are the first premier homes TV has built in several years if I’m not mistaken. It’s a nice area. I like the bigger lots. I like Moultrie as well.

I love the exterior paint color. A nice change from beige. I do not like the pole when you walk in. The birdcage is amazing. This is a fantastic house. $$$$$$$

Quartz is man-made and includes a lot of plastic resin. I chose actual quartzite stone... nothing like the real thing!

Way too big for a retirement home. Better to invest that money in the market. Should have discussed all the lots that are not selling. Looks to be a construction zone for quite awhile.
About two thirds of the lots have sold, way faster than the last premier neighborhood.
Obviously money is not a problem for him. He wanted that huge garage and pool so kind of necessity to be a premiere.
