The main advice I'd give is to use tweaks based on your opponent to make sure you play as you want to play. If I'm a possession player i would never use pass into space even if the data hub show the opp is particularly vulnerable to through balls. This specially applies to OI, they can disrupt your match plan too much
I can't imagine doing all that myself. FM had becoming more and more unfriendly to amateur users especially when you need to micro manage pretty much everything. What's the point of hiring coaches and assistant? Then the mid season slump came and destroy every fun. I don't recall needed watching TH-cam to actually know how to play FM from FM2008-FM2019

Im down to the last game of the season ive been top of table as spurs for the whole season but Liverpool have come out of no where im playing Bournemouth rn hope i win the league i won the conference league last season after taking over spurs that was sat in 17th
You shouldn't. Any number of grey stars is worse than 1 yellow star. Being that it's a good player like Guler it means he'd be significantly out of position at LW. (Doesn't mean you can't develop him there, but he'd be fish out of water right now.)

The left hand side has the instructions and playing style etc , the middle is squad in formation, and the right hand side is the whole squad and Subs etc ... On laptop, now tha you say that makes me think it's because I'm on the laptop
Hello. In my save I signing many young players with high potential. Trainings are good, coaches also, we overperforming at the pitch and league table, I give them enough playing time, sometimes I remind them that they must do more in their development, but most of them don't develop good enough and soon lose from their potential. Can somebody tell me why this happen an what I must do in this case.
Star potential is all relative, as your team increases in ability 5 star potential becomes much harder to achieve. For example an average prem player who is 2.5/3 stars would be 5 star in league one

Do you buy good new players? The star rating reflects on the all players of your club. or maybe your club grew in reputation. thus your assistant deem they are not good enough.

Usually grey star players are only good at youth levels...he is probably not prepared enough to play at top squad level
It means theres a possibility that the player is bigger than better than he actually is
