    Hey Chad, at 18:32 can the water that was formed also act as the base to deprotonate the OH? Or is it more favorable for the alcohol to do so?

      If you first start the reaction with H3O+ instead of ORH2+ then you can use that H2O to regenerate the H3O+, because in this reaction you have to regenerate the acid catalyst.
