I know the Shadyside kids are cursed but I was so mad that they were the only ones to get killed lol. Can’t wait for y’all to do part 3 it’s the best one.
A fun way to have killed off some Sunnyvale characters is if they accidentally got in the way of the killer or were mistaken for Shadysiders. I really wanted to see Sheila and the twins go. It would have shown that Nick was still an amateur witch

Funnily enough future ziggy’s dog was called ‘major Tom’ and they played moonage daydream by david bowie, so her nickname was ziggy after ziggy stardust since she was a big David Bowie fan
What i really liked about these movies is that each one was styled around different horror genres / types .1st movie was based on the 90s/ scream 2 . was the 70's 80's summer camp / Friday the 13th and 3. is the more recent psychological thrilllers like 'the witch' or 'Midsommar' etc.
Sadie Sink is just phenomenal, especially her role in Stranger Things as Max. I’ve never watched any of the Fear Streets yet, but I will just for Sadie Sink. She deserves the world, one of my favorite actresses.
Alice wasn’t knocked in the head. She had her torso sliced open. Part 3 is the best of the three. All the actors from the first two movies come back as different characters.
Fun fact: There is shared dialogue in the 1994 and 1978 movies. Kate tells Simon, “That’s disgusting…you’re disgusting” about him wearing his bloodstained shirt in 1994. Gary then says it to Joan after she calls Kurt shagadelic in 1978. There are more if you ever go back for rewatches. 😊 it’s a cool little easter egg.
I actually guessed that C. Berman was Ziggy the first time I watched it just because the actress playing "current day" (1994) her has slightly red hair. I figured them showing us her "death" was a misdirect along with not using her full name. You guys were close to figuring it out when you were asking about Ziggy's full name.
@@luciuscabralzenardo2897 I wonder how adult Ziggy told the story tho? Was she telling this from the third perspective? "So Cindy and Alice did that while Ziggy and Nick were doing that"? For Josh to figure it out at the end of the story 😂
Watching these for first time with you guys yeah I got to say this one was better than the first imo I voted for scream prefer that franchise overall enjoyable horror imo can’t Wait for the next movie night tho
This one is my favorite of the three. Love the camp setting and it being in the 70's since a lot of my favorite horror movies are during that time period. 💚 Btw I agree that it's mostly reminiscent of Friday the 13th and Jason. But it also reminds me of Sleepaway Camp and the killer looks similar to the one from the original The Town That Dreaded Sundown.
Dex is short for Dexadrine. It's prescription diet pills. Basically speed. That was what Adderall is today. Except speed is more like meth. Nothing like that 97th cup of coffee in the morning.
I went to a sleep away camp I believe it was two weeks. It looked like this camp too, a central dinning area and individual cabins with 5 kids each as well as an older camper assigned. I remember that thee wasn’t a schedule you had to follow but certain activities that would happen at the same time everyday and maybe a time in the day where you did a craft with your cabin to socialize and calm down lol

It's always weird to me in movies with supernatural elements and there are characters who everyone bullies because they think they're evil or related to something evil but then act like it's impossible that the evil thing occurred and don't believe them lol
Also a detail: shadysiders are also the only poc people. Obviously some are white (like the sisters) but all poc ppl in the movie are shadysiders. Which was not an accident. Is just a smart added detail about white privilege and all.
its more about institutional racism than white privilege, the people in charge redlining all the poor whites and poc together so they dont mingle with the wealthy white class.
Okay okay wanting you guys to think abt these shows: outerbanks, looking for Alaska, the society but especially outerbanks but I understand if you’ve seen it already just some suggestions!!!

She was in The Whale and was absolutely painfully incredible.
Ziggy’s great but Cindy would’ve been the perfect final girl. She went from a prude to such a badass.
It was a subversion of horror movie rules that virgins never die, she was the typical final girl which is why they flipped it
No too obvious every horror movie has the goody too shoes virgin as the final girl
I enjoyed the twist tho, but I do agree I enjoyed Cindy a bit more 😂
