The fact that summer event consists of grindy quests for mediocre reskin rewards already makes it the worse. Even leakers who have access to the files didnt realize it started because there's nothing new.

I have a bit of hope for fortnitemares, since it has its own section on the leaked roadmap, so that MIGHT add some nice stuff. But who knows

In chapter 2 season 7 they went all out for summer, now it’s less exciting and more disappointing every summer.
Fortnite making a long quest line for 3 free items sounds about right they also keep reducing xp I remember getting to level 100 in a week from doing all milestone challenges now you barely get 30 levels from doing the milestones

Don't get entirely disappointed we still get the pirates of the caribbean event this month, and we got reload about a week ago. Just remember summer in 2020, there was nothing.

I think they should have released these quests first and then reload because the free items from reload are summer items and if they released the quests and said that was part 1 of the summer event and then released reload as part 2 it would of turned out a lot better and people would be more happy, at least I think so I could be wrong

I'm always down for free cosmetics but, man it makes me miss other summer seasons, I still use my surf board and aquariaxe all the time.
Last year we thought spray paint, ice cream and fireworks were bad, Epic really said "hold my drink" for this year.

Last time i remember No-Sweat Insurance being around was in chapter 3 when chrome was taking over the island and all the buildings had to be floated by NSI balloons.

I just started playing in February. One of the things I was looking forward to was the collabs, but tbh I've been quite disappointed with the events so far, other than the tmnt event, which is why I started playing in the first place
Hey can you do a quest guide, it says reach top 50 players in battle royale and I did it in no build, yet I switched to regular mode and for some reason I got to 50 players and it didn’t count, can you look into it tabor?

Also wanna point out the elimination quest, it doesn’t show how many stages, probably just play it until it’s gone

I agree. Except the part where we include other holidays. It seems based of the leaked image roadmap, that Halloween and Christmas should at least be good for Lego.
I also think we may see an example of the best FORTNITEMARES since Chapter 2. Just a bunch tho. I’m sure Lego at the least will be great. I just hope they don’t do a starwars and make the others much less changed. I want a brand new mechanic or item in BR for both upcoming holidays.

Ranked got a big update they valuted cars and npc's all part of the "Summer Update" until the 18th July

One thing they're doing in the summer event that the should've done earlier is I've heard they took cars and fists and hirable npcs out of ranked until the 18th. If they did that at the beginning of the season we wouldn't have needed car nerfs so I'm sad they didn't bring it sooner
I definitely agree last year was a lot better for the Summer event. It's like Fortnite is getting awful when it comes to Summer events. It's honestly is one of the best time of year. Beside Christmas.

honestly, we have the 4 reboot rewards which are summer related. we have 2/3 of the reboot rewards being summer related. dogfight contrail...thats up to u. now we have 3 more summer related rewards as well. thats 9 total free rewards thats summer related. i can't complain about that. though im surprised they did put that ducky pickaxe but eh. with that said, im surprised there isnt much changes to the br island. but then again, not a lot of ppl are liking this season due to all the cars and stuff in the first place.
Kinda crazy to think that even the previous summer event had even better map changes than this one, I thought they would decorate the desert oases for this event, but they didn't add even a single umbrella.
And better rewards that weren't reskins, although it's free, it's kinda underwhelming

Honestly if your not busy then do challenges but throughout this summer event even tho the rewards are cool the mist of the challenges will be pain in the butt. So even if you do want the rewards good luck. This season i think its ok better than wilds and last resort i didnt play those seasons until fortnitemares. But im busy until the end of this season so i will try to get the rewards to keep me busy.

This was actually one of the BEST summer events and here is the proof:
1 - Fortnite confirmed that Fortnite Reload was meant to be part of the summer event (most asked for thing)
2 - free rewards
3 - Pirates of the Caribbean
4 - Vaulted cars and mythic cars as well as fists (best thing imo)
Bro cars being vaulted is bad the whole season was about cars im a pro and can deal with cars if you can’t just play Fortnite reload also pirates of the Caribbeans is the best thing but you have to pay for it and the free rewards suck ass

I feel like the free rewards in Reload were supposed to be for All Sweat Summer, but were swapped to Reload last minute.
they couldve added the Underwritter as a skin for this summer but you know how fortnite is.
I really want the Underwriter as an edit style for the heist skin' they could of atleast given us that this summer as an edit style or they could of made it a new skin and given it to us for free that would of been nice
This year isnt so much about summer event, as they didnt post a trailer. Its not an event, and you cant complain about no updates because on epics summer break they have left us with pirates of carribean, reload and magneto
