Arrival and day 1 at Hyatt Zilara Resort Cap Cana, the very best resort at Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, during the Thanksgiving week in Nov. '23.
This video includes landing at Punta Cana airport, being picked up by Dominican Airport Transfers (DAT), arrival at the resort, room tour of our Ocean Front resort with the most incredible view, and meals at the buffet restaurant for lunch, dinner at Shutters, entertainment at night, and ending the night at the Moments bar.

We are going in November flying in on a Sunday around 2 pm on American, so likely terminal B from what I've read. We've never been to tne DR. We opted to do the VIP airport arrival and private transfer to tne Hyatt Zilara. We are staying club level in a suite as well. Any recommendations on dining, butler services, and things/places to avoid? Any issues making dinner reservations? Requesting beverages, as a club level guest, do you get a higher quality cocktail/drink menu at the restaurants and not low quality liquor or beer etc. We've never done an all-inclusive. We usually rent private homes or stay in boutique resorts when traveling in the Caribbean. I thank you for your time.
Hi Shane! Thank you for watching! We just got back from our 3rd stay the 2nd week of July and I'm about to cover most of your questions on my newer videos, stay tuned! I will say that I don't feel and see the need for VIP airport arrival. We've always been able to land and get out of the airport in 15 mins. or so. The butler helps elevate your experience so getting a good one definitely helps but we've always had butlers. They help enhance but having a great stay doesn't really depend on having butlers. We've always done club level, you only get the premium alcohol brands from the club lounge itself. I do love club for the club pool as it's our preferred pool. We don't really drink a lot so it depends on what you're after. I will also say that the club level restaurant Shutters, is only available for club level guests for breakfast and we love it as it's beachfront. Hope this helps a bit for now! are the a la carte restaurants included in price or you pat extra?
Hi! All the restaurants are included on the rate you pay for, except for the specialty restaurant The Blind Butcher for $150 per person and it's optional. We didn't try it.
@@ElevatedMoments888thanks god you guys didn’t try it because we just came back from this resort & we bought the blind butcher dinner for 150 per person & the food was below average another negative thing about this resort is that they don’t give there guest a wristband that was a problem with security the first 2 days at the property 🤦🏽♂️👎🏼 but we highly recommend this resort the food at all a la carte restaurant are delicious and the staff are very friendly this resort is a 5 out of 6 for us !
We are headed there in November, staying club level in a suite. We've never been to the DR. Suggestions in food/restaurants any helpful advice would be appreciated. We're also doing VIP Airport arrival.
@@shanew7361 excellent resort but only one negative do not booked the blind butcher dinner not worth it for 150 dollars per person food was below average for us & for the vip airport service that’s only apply for terminal 🅰️ for arrivals not 🅱️ terminal B is only for delta & American Airlines this service is not available for this terminal only for departure from punta Cana !

@@Tubeyou72 Thanks for watching, happy you liked it! Our favorite restaurants were: Tempest for Asian food, Journeys for Indian, Noodle & Thread for Italian and Waves for Steak! The buffet has themed nights, my husband says he had the best burger during one of the themed nights! Oh and if you have club access, we love Shutters for breakfast! One Eyed cat for martinis and drinks! More videos to come in the next few days, hope you enjoy! You'll have an amazing time for sure!
