NOLA, baby!!! Loved it. A great edit, indeed. I'm a big fan of anything Krooked puts out. Oh, and Humidity is a great shop in the FQ. I would buy shoes and magazines from them when I lived there. They were always really nice. Plus, Phil rips. Anyway, I'm going to watch this again. Good stuff right here.

I feel so proud of my city right now. I bought my first board there 17yrs ago. Fun story,, fast forward to ‘08: I run into the old owner, who taught me how to kick flip in the shop, in Nola jail booking both of us junked out. Days later same holding cell, I wake up and 1 of my old neighborhood skate buddies is sitting next to me. Fuck this place but I love it, and skateboarding saved me from it. WHY IS THERE NOT MORE COVERAGE ON DIS PLACE?! COME ON THRASHER, GET WIT IT, ITS GRIMMY AS FUCK OUT HERE! SO MUCH POTENTIAL. SHout out to Philly for the dedication he’s had for skateboarding here and keeping Humidity a landmark as the city’s only skate shop. Fuck yes!
I skated my new krooked 8.25 with Independent 139s and had a blast. First time riding Independent.

I'd say "New Orleans ambassador" is a pretty accurate title for Philly.
As far as Louisiana Skate Ambassadors go, it's Philly from Humidity and Ronnie from Rukus (Chip @ Rukus, and guys at Coup/Small Times were for a long time as well), at least in my opinion. If you're a pro skater coming to Louisiana, you have to be calling one of them. BA too, but in terms of "Home-Grown" Ambassadors, I can't think of any more obvious than Philly and Ronnie. Both have done a lot for the local skate community, and the community in general.
Anyway, sick edit!
P.S. - Unfortunately, my local shop for years was "Go Big". So I would drive an hour to either Rukus or Humidity to buy my stuff, so that I could buy something besides BAM boards and Hurley shirts. SMH. The struggle was real.
P.S.2? - Might be the first time ever that I've skated every single spot in a video posted by Thrasher.
I'd watch Jordan Trahan shop for groceries.
