@@ross7684 It looks like an operation like that needs a lot more hands. Right now it is growing season so the only thing to do is clean up and repair the planting equipment. When it is time to harvest it's all hands on deck!
IH all the way for me for sure!! A buddy of mine just baught a John deer and it ended up blowing a radiator hose off and he went to shut it down after he herd something explode and the temp gauge went straight to the peg mark!! Brand new John Deere with an extended warranty!! After getting the hose fixed witch might have only taken about an hour to an hour in a half and filled back up with antifreeze she still would not start but after about 5 hours of sitting and cooling off some more she finally started to get it back up to the shop but she was not a happy tractor at all!! Now they are fighting with the dealer for the warranty work to be covered or not!!! They haven’t even came to pick it up and it’s been over three months!! Good thing he has the good old IH for a back up that runs and does everything you can ask that tractor to do!!! It’s a beast!!!

Getting those tanks off the tractor was a project that took some power. The one tank was not too bad but the other was really on there. Agree with you on the chains. If they are old and rusty do not trust them. I have gotten fooled by an old chain more than once. Need one that will take the pressure like you needed in getting the tank off. Actually, historically, "dinner" refers to the largest meal of the day not to any specific time. Farmers who need their calories during the day have dinner at midday. We office workers who have something light like a salad, call it "lunch" and our big meal of the day or "dinner" is at 5 or 6pm after work. "Supper" is derived from german and means something similar to "sip soup" or a light meal at the end of a heavy workday. I bet Chet and Eric have supper in the evening.

Rain looks soooooo nice when /we/ have had 3.38 for the entire year and no winter snow either. A late June trip across Mn showed you share our n.d. drought.

hey chet, dougo, nicoles passing really messed me up 4 awhile, i got covid and quite drinking at the same time (try that if you ever want to see how tough you really are) any way went from 260 to 225# in a month? its a life changing thing for sure, 20 years drinking beer? what a stupid thing, quit the day nicole passed and i will never drink another! nice to watch u guys sober . great vid chet.

You might consider some type of corrosion inhibiting coating on the exposed metal on the saddle tanks. For as close tolerance as those fit it wouldn't take much rust to make that a real pain to put back on. A cheap alternative is a super fine coat of grease then spray paint over it. Easy to remove and no corrosion when you go back on. Good luck and God bless.

If you don’t want your demo tanks stuck and rusted In then get some quality coper anti seize and coat the tank bars and inside the mounting holes on the 9r and they will slide out so much easier.

I was getting nervous since you had not cleaned off the tanks before you removed them... Felling much better to see them getting all cleaned up.
Wish we could give you some of our rain. 11 inches in 11 days. That is more than we’ve gotten in the past 18 months.

Coat the tank frame tubes with anti seize, will prevent rust while in storage, and make re mounting next spring much smoother
