I agree with the SCAR-H suggestion. As you mentioned, we’ve had ammo changes in the past with the UMP and Vector, so it’s not completely out of the realm of possibility, and it would make the SCAR a bigger competitor with the M4 due to the stronger ammo.
I'm a Scar-L user over M4. I upgraded my lab Scar just to use as my primary weapon. I tell all my friends it's better, if you can control the horizontal recoil when spraying.
its because M416 feels good when you get a kill with it and the glacier skin with it also the title that gun has its seen as the MAIN gun and the only reliable gun also its easy to master

Heh, i don't even use the M416 at all, exept there is no other gun when hot drop fights, if there was stats to see how much i use the M4 it will be maby 2% from what i played in this game and most i use is the AKM and SCAR-L and i think it is nice combo for close to mid range fight, sometimes i use sniper with eather of the two for close to long range fight. The only reason players still play with M416 is the stability in recoil when spray but required more attachment then Scar-L. The funny thing is when everyone search for the M416 always in the maps because their skin that they heave especially the glacier skin to just show off.😅
Before shop was in the game I practice to used the scarl l because not every game you would get the m416 and I master it if I find m416 I would take it cause it has a better long range shooting

dp 28 should be the meta, because it should shoot 7.62x54, which has the same caliber as mosin nagant. Basically automatic mosin. And akm and beryl shoot 7.62x39 fmj, not the same caliber
No one should be taking 3 shots from sniper and still be standing. Until pubg makes snipers more effective against armor... annoying m4 sprays will still live on.

And thts why it stays relevant
Numbers and statistics dont seem to matter to the 556 crowd. They just feel like the M416 is better. Back when every 556 AR had the same damage and fire rate. There was zero difference at all. They still dropped everything for the M4. Now the M416 is mid tier 556. But people still drop everything for it. Its just ease of use and familiarity that makes people grab the M4 every game. They love the easy to use guns. So we get the M416/UMP meta. Add on the cult of Glacier. Its always gonna be M416 for them😂
I love Bushka but he is missing the big point, we as veterans players we have dial in sensitivity, and the majority of players might be just casual and they don’t want to nerd their way to have a pro set up. and the spray in every gun except M4 change mid-long range so it’s not about the damage the gun does, it’s about how the recoil feels and as long as PUBG doesn’t make the other guns the same recoil as the M4 players will keep using it meta or not
Still no diff tho your still spraying with a 5.56 weapon wether it be scar l or qbz or m4 so still a spray meta and the m4 can do it all so why not run a gun that can do cqc,mid,and long range. I never enjoyed the M4. It's the lazy persons gun. It takes no skill to distance spray with, meaning people play the game wrong when they have it, by which I mean they spray at range for terminal effect, rather than suppression, and aren't forced, as they should be, to either tap, or swap to a dedicated long range weapon like a DMR or bolt action. It shouldn't be possible to spray at excessive range, with ANYTHING, that ENTIRE meta needs to go the way of the dodo, in my opinion. If spraying in general got a fat nerf as a manual of arms, the game would be better. If you had to go single fire outside of say 150 meters to make hits, no matter what weapon you have in your hand, the game would be better, but it is what it is, I guess. For me, I'm going to run a Scar-L or an AKM, with an S12K any chance I get, and use them how they should be used, not spraying at long range, and wrecking goofs in Mummy suits with Glacier M4s who think they've got it made.

I refuse to run as primary.

Highest DPS 5.56 guns are AUG and Scar-L but everyone still uses M4 😒. The AUG shreds everything in secs on all close , mid and long range fights.

It’s to late we’ve all mastered our maxed glaciers. The M4 is just to easy to use. Even up to 400 meters on auto.

Scar-H isn't just a 7.62. It's a 7.62x51. The same round the Mk14 uses IRL.

scar-l or aug paired with a Berly or ace32 is my load out. Im not good at sniping. sometimes will run an SKS which is good for long range.
